Celestion Truvox 1225 250 Watt Raw Frame Speaker 8 Ohm, 12 inch
Replaced an original at least 20 years old. I tried another popular brand sold at Amazon,worked fine but the volume was only about half,even though the ohms were the same. The Celestion Truvox is an exact match for my Celestion PA speaker and sounds great.

Good quality
got these to replace some damaged behringer ones. definitely notice the better quality with these speakers. good bottom end punch and decent clarity with the top end.

Great Woofer for 2 or 3 Way Speaker
I used this woofer to make a ported Klipsch Heresy clone speaker. The TF1225 worked great in the same size enclosure as the original Heresy. I also used a JBL D-250X midrange compression driver on a Celestion H1SC horn. The tweeter used was an ST200 (JBL too). Built a custom 3-way crossover and it sounds better than a stock "Heritage" Heresy!
