Toward Soviet America (Classic Reprint) Paperback – June 13, 2012

It's a really interesting read. But the author would have you believe that while everyone is starving in the West and nobody was starving in the ussr. Ironically, there was a well documented widespread famine IN the ussr and the Ukraine that took place in the exact same year the book was first published.

This book is a curiosity, a relic of a failed ideology. While the author does give many accurate criticisms of capitalism it assumes these criticisms don’t apply to communism.Still it’s interesting to see how communist think and how ideology can blind one to anything close to objectivity.

I purchased the Kindle version, using my Kindle for the purchase. I felt it was time to re-read this classic, a book that I think every American should read and think about, especially in today's political climate. But how can the people publishing this for Kindle NOT INCLUDE A CHAPTER LINK!!!!!

All the steps the Communists formulated to destroy America are listed here in this book. Quite relevant today as we see America being weakened by the enemies within. Put two and two together and ask yourself who has a hand in the demise of this great nation after you read this book. Like Allen West said. America needs to stop voting like its American Idol.

Aside from the fact that Z. Foster was a slobbering Stalinist, this copy of his communist love letter to the Comintern isn't even very well done. Numbers for footnotes are not linked, headers are dropped in the middle of text, etc. etc. If you can find a better version of this book, which ignores the famines already crippling the USSR and the show trials which were eliminating Stalin's rivals, then get it. Find out how the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics was the future and capitalism was doomed. Any day now. Really.

This book reflects what is wrong in America today - our schools are indoctrinating our young people to socialism and our politicians have a vested interest in destroying capitalism. If America is going to be saved from communism/socialism, this book should be taught in our schools, along with our Constitution and the real stories of our Founders.
