Q: I have a dress that’s 95% polyester and 5%cotton would this work, the dress says to wash at 40?

In order for this to work you have to boil the garment in the dye. For me, as i wasn’t wearing it anymore and it would be no loss if it went wrong, i tried it. My garment was 100% polyester. It worked perfectly. But i accepted the risk of washing over 40.

Q: Can I use this on fleece type clothing ?

Heating fleece at the temp required for this type of dye would probably cause it to be very very creased. Check wash temp on garment. This dye required 80⁰C for an hour+ heating. I think fleeces are 40⁰C max but check.
