Great idea and awesome product for the everyday snack

I thought these would be a perfect ziploc bag replacement, but not so fast. They do have an interlocking zip feature on top, but it can't take any stress. Turn it upside down with even a little bit of something in there and it will leak.It doesn't come apart on its own, however, so still very usable for storing items in the frig.I wouldn't store liquids in here, unless it's just for storage in the frig. I put water in it and laid it on its side on the counter; leaking within seconds.That said, I might still bring one along on vacation. It makes an excellent emergency cup, can fold it, put things on top of it in a purse, and it'll still be fine. Can put leftovers in it, or even chocolate someone gives you--you can't tell what heat the baggage may be exposed to, so even if checking your bags you'll want to store meltables in sealed bags. It might even make a good padded container for small glass breakables.I gave it 3 stars because I'm a bit disappointed how much it leaked at the closure seal, and how quickly the seal popped when held upside down. I didn't expect to be able to whip it around and hold, but if filled even halfway, it will tend to pop itself open in 5 minutes. You'd have to put a bag clip or paper clip on the top to 'help' it stay closed.

The idea is great, the implementation is not. DO NOT BUY THESE - they do not seal. You can seal it with just air and push a bit and it pops open. Definitely will not hold any liquid and stay shut. I would not even put something like dry cereal in it as it will not hold a seal at all.... Am disappointed - love the shape of the bottom but useless.

After watching the video that customer posted and decided to purchase this one form others. Received the product on last week but till now just got a chance to try it! The material was thin and a big worry will break it if wash a bit harder! And tired to put some water and see if it leaks, unfortunately the 2 sides has tiny gap which the water just dripping out from that 2 area and if u squeeze the container a bit harder and it will just pop open!! since I Just took it with me for my trip so won’t be able to return it! :(... I guess I will only can use for snacks and dry food!

I love the idea of using these instead of disposable plastic bags. I don't love the way they hold onto food odors. I have had to throw two of them away because they smelled. I guess that's just the nature of silicone products, though.

Durable, easy to use but they don’t really stay sealed. These will work well with a clip to make sure it stays shut.

Platinum was used during manufacture (sounds fancy, but NOT a good thing!); the only reason platinum is used? To be able to mix PLASTIC with the silicone in lower temps than the heat that pure silicone requires.At least they're being honest about it.Pure silicone is cloudy white with NO color. There IS no pinch test (a myth)- if it has color, it's plastic w/silicone in it. Be careful though, there is white/clear plastic too. Pure silicone will be more expensive than the plastic, metal, or glass they're replacing (because of the processing heat required), but will last nearly forever.My search continues.Sadly, these are not the containers I'm looking for.

The containers are not leak proof. When it's full of liquid the zipper doesnot lock securely, it will snap open with any slight movement.
