in 2017 California made it standard so that every new car has backup camerabut unfortunately i had the 2013 modelso i had to get a backup camerathis camera catch my eye and its really nice, the instructions that came in handy are very accurate and easy to understandalthough there is a bit of one time work involved in installation of camera at the back of your car depends on how your car is, mine got a nice place just above the plate :)so far i really like this, it turns on with the reverse and then turns offthe only thing is that outer lines are really created for a compact car, so if your car is not compact the guidelines on reverse camera are not accuratethere may be lots of part but don't get confused.. seriously its worth it, just follow the right instructions and it will work like a charm

Excellent image quality, the best quality-price ratio. Very easy to install.Since the rear vision through the mirror in my car is limited by its design, I installed it in the mode so that it is constantly on. I did this by connecting it to the plate light.I start the engine and immediately the camera start working being able to see what's going on behind perfectly both at day and night.Excellent product.

Screen is very clear and it is very easy to install. Included screen holder options are excellent i.e. either the suction cup with magnet or plastic dash holder.

This camera is a good value, but expect to make some compromises at this price point.Most importantly, it works. Picture quality is good, I had no trouble getting it to transmit through my truck camper, and the unit is impressively tiny to the point that it's barely visible on the vehicle.Having said that, there are some issues. The image was both upside down and rotated about 90 degrees so the mount on the camera was worse than useless -- I had to connect it with adhesive. I saw the lines on the screen some others complained about. I believe these are a result of radio interference rather than a QC problem.I don't recommend using the camera for continuous monitoring. If I leave it on for long, the display unit gets really hot.If I were making the purchase again, I'd give some thought to plunking down a bit more coin to mitigate the issues I experienced. However, if you're looking for a cheap camera that does the job, this is a decent option.

I purchased this system and when the package came couldn't believe all the stuff you get for the money. Why I am giving this a three star is because I found the signal to be weak. On my Toyota Sequoia the picture at times would jump around and many times display a fuzzy picture. During a long road trip the metal plate holding the monitor to the mounting bracket kept coming apart and falling off my windshield. Think a bit of super glue would fix the issue. Other than these complaints it seem to work acceptable most times. Guess for the money one cannot complain too much. If I was to do it over again might pay a bit more to try to find better quality...

I never want to say bad things about a product but when I had problems with it after install I contacted the seller to find a remedy and was surprised that they insisted there was no solution, that the product is defective, it suffers from cold weather, water intrusion, etc. Kindly, they sent me a hard-wire camera but there was a reason I paid for a wireless one. And yes, the metal plate fell off of the monitor, the camera takes too long to send a signal to the monitor, in cold weather it’s even worse. But, if you wire a camera to a constant power source and use the power switch for the monitor to turn it on when you need to backup, it’s somewhat useful. But bottom-line, it’s sadly not worth buying BUT I believe the company is a good one. Buy a hard wire camera from them.

This works just great. I love being able to see behind me and can stop being jealous of newer cars that come with them already installed. I had my mechanic do it. The hardest part for him was to push both buttons at the same time to get the wi-fi going. I do have to wait for about 5 seconds after I put the car in reverse for the picture to come on-time to look once again for traffic from the sides. The light on the camera really helps at night.
