I purchased this because we are working from home and our router only had two ethernet spots and both were in my husband's office. I have a VOIP phone in another room but it HAD to be hardwired. This was the perfect solution! I just plugged this into a wall, plugged my VOIP phone in and I am up and running. I really didn't need it as a wifi extender so I can't really rate this aspect. I would definitely purchase again if I ever need another drop. It saved me a ton of time and holes in my wall to not have to hardwire a drop.This product was delivered very quickly and worked right out of the box. Thanks!UPDATE: Two years and it died! I guess for the price I can’t really complain but when you work from home and it dies - all work comes to a screeching halt!!! Frustrating!!!

Did this thing ever work? I had it plugged in for a while, but I'm not sure it ever worked at all. Now, It seems to have stopped functioning, at least partially, and i can not, not matter what I do, log in to try and fix or update it. This thing is just a piece of junk, and I just fought with it for the last hour. Trash.

This extender did not help with our Wifi.

Super easy to install and configure. Wi-fi signal is excellent. My wi-fi router is in the basement and we needed wifi 1.5 levels up and on the opposite end of the house. I placed the repeater on the highest level. Because of outlet availability it's not exactly in the middle of the basement router and the uppermost level's farthest corner but it still worked fine. Tested download speeds near the basement router and at the uppermost level's farthest corner and saw no download speed difference. Only 4 stars because the outlet prongs are shorter than most so it barely hangs in there.

I am extremely surprised at how well this actually works. I recently purchased one from Best Buy that cost a little over $100. Needless to say I had to take it back. It didn't work. I had my reservations about this one, with my past experience, but figured it was worth a try. I am more than pleasantly surprised and beyond pleased with this one and it was a third of the cost of my other one. We don't have a very large house, but it is old. I was told that construction in older houses causes the wifi to not work so well. We were finding the wifi wasn't reaching the bedrooms at the end of the hall. I installed this new repeater halfway down the hall and voila! I now have wifi throughout the whole house. Setup was really easy and instructions were really clear. Thank you.

Buyer beware! This is not a simple plug and be amazed unit. We’re running all Apple equipment.We struggled for 40 minutes to get it working after following the three steps to power it up and go online firstly ,it connects to an unsecured network , secondly after we finished the router step the third and final step you need to get online to finish the set up , we were never able to get online after we set the router to their un secure network. I gave it 2 stars to be fair , This was another frustrating gadget experience, you know what I mean...... FAR from the easy set up it portends ....

Looking at photos by other customers, I see that I should have gotten instructions with my device, but I did not. I didn't get the black cord, either. I figured that meant I only had to plug it in. I couldn't tell if it was working by looking at it, and I couldn't tell a difference in WiFi reception in that area of the house. (I bought it so that my Ring doorbell would have better wireless reception.)Now, looking at directions on how to install it (in the answer under the Questions section), I do know how to install it. However, it doesn't work. It doesn't show up at all under my wireless list. It doesn't matter how close to the router and modem that I plug it in. It doesn't work.And now, because I waited so long to try to troubleshoot it, I cannot return my incomplete product, because the return date has long passed. I'm partially at fault for not being more inquisitive sooner-- but the seller is at fault for sending me an incomplete product.

My home office is upstairs on the opposite side of where my home's wifi router is located. Speed has been a bit sluggish so thought I'd give this a try. End result is a definite improvement of about 30%. Conducted a number of tests to verify my findings:1) wire connected to my router 90 up / 90 down2) wifi sitting next to my router 40 up / 40 down3) back in my office connected to router wifi 23 up / 16 down4) in my office wifi connected to the repeater 30 up / 27 downTook me about 3 minutes to config then was able to try out different places in my house.I located the repeater in my upstairs hallway, halfway between my office and downstairs router. Tried some other locations with good results but best is where its at now.Would definitely recommend this product and very pleased with simplicity of setup, performance and portability.

las instrucciones de instalación son confusas e insuficientes; para un usuario común es imposible configurarlo. Tengo la esperanza de algún día poderlo usar y me auxiliaré de un experto en informática para instalarlo y poder dar mi opinión si realmente funciona como lo anuncian.
