MSRM 750Mbps WiFi Extender 2.4 & 5GHz Dual Band WiFi Repeater with Gigabit Ethernet Port, 360 Degree Full Coverage Wall Plug Range Extender

I tried several attempts daily to open MSRM 2.4 g which loops one back to Amazon, and I've tried dozens of times to log into 192.168.10.1. "PAGE CANNOT BE FOUND"! I "PINGED" the browser address and there was no connection - timed out ... the same message when one inserts the link address into a browser. Since the address can't be pinged it doesn't exist.I've reset the extender too many times to count; I reset my modem, router, computer to no avail. I hold down the reset button and place it back into the electrical outlet ... the ranging light just flashes and it has yet to connect. I've plugged my desktop into the extender and "no internet service" ... how does one log into one of the links without internet service? I've changed my adapter settings "Ethernet" properties => internet version protocol => properties => Internet protocal 4 CTCP/IP v 4 => and subnet IP address: 192.168.10.1. Nothing has worked ... I've watched over 15 how to setup videos and all are based on connection to MSRM 2.4 or 192.168.10.1. Nothing has worked... the unit does get extremely HOT when plugged in to an outlet. My camera is still not functioning because this camera I have cannot be set up in the usual method. Anyone with something I haven't attempted? My Android doesn't connect either.

It does what it promises.Do keep in mind that the wifi range of these producst is not inmmense. 1300 sqf coverage equates to about a 40 foot distance from the extender. If you have walls or floors, the extender's wifi will be weak.=============================Had to downgrade to 1 start. It did not work for me, very patchy and dropped wifi, especially 5G. I really do not think this item can manage 5G.Had to return it.

Setup was a bit challenging for me as not very proficient in such things but once I figured it out as to not using a browser to log in it seemed obvious as to instructions. Extender is halfway between downstairs router and television in upstairs bedroom and upon connection of the device streaming was flawless.

It does seem to enable a stronger signal where I need it but it disconnects at least once per day so pretty much every time I turn the TV on, it is disconnected. There is a reset button that seems to do nothing (in my experience) so I unplug the device, wait and then plug it back in. That does fix it for a while.

The instructions of setting this up was easy, but I never knew that just numbers could be used as a website. Another thing I’d say if you use this item for a house, I’d say unplug it at night or else it will heat up/overheat.

did not work for me. does heat up in outlet. waste of money

Five mins, and the thing was up and running like champ! Will take more time to transfer everything over, then it ever did to set up!
