Solid dock but read the instructions.
This dock is awesome. Currently using my switch I purchased back in 2018 and it works flawlessly. Read the directions, don’t connect weird third party power sources, and if you can use the original switch power block. Charging speed is just as fast as if you were to plug it into the original. Sound quality is too notch and portability is hands down one of the best features. I travel for work a lot so being able to throw this dock in a backpack and not think twice is a huge plus. Also for those of you who think you bricked your switch. Unplug and hold down the power button on your switch for 20 seconds. Release and push power again, it should turn on. This isn’t a dock issue, this is a switch issue when it gets hung up.

It killed my switch and I need to purchase a new switch now. DO NOT BUY THIS
My switch had a 40% charge before I docked it on here. I wanted to test it and after docking it my switch won't turn on at all and absolutely KILLED my switch. Whats supposed to be a blue light, per the manual, when docked never even turned on. I also purchased the suggested bundled 15v type c cable for this dock, and my outlet works fine as I charge my laptop on the same outlet, but nope, it never turned on to charge or anything. My switch is completely dead and useless. The box I received was a bit beat up thinking it looks like a returned item but tossed it up to just the packer stuffing this dock and the additional c cable in a bubble wrap envelope but now I'm thinking it's just faulty and was probably a returned product. I purchased this for an upcoming trip and now I might have to purchase a new switch at nearly $300. DO NOT BUY THIS. I was confused why this has good ratings (fake reviews?) so I watched the first video review where they gave it 5 stars but if you watch it he says the same thing - it killed his switch and this product is trash. Someone needs to update that video to a 1 star rating!! I was in the middle of a meeting and didn't watch the whole video and was rushing to get this delivered overnight 4am-7am before my trip the next morning so that's my fault for not combining through reviews. Hopefully my review saves someone else the headache and money from having to purchase a new switch.

Compact and easy to use! Not ideal for "frequent" docking and undocking
I purchased this dock to play my Switch on my lunch breaks at work, but I wanted to enjoy Zelda Tears of the Kingdom on a portable 15" monitor. I didn't want to lug around the original dock. The Ponkor docking station fit nicely in my small front pouch of my backpack and the original Nintendo Switch fit well. Because the dock is small and narrow the Switch has some minor play when resting on the dock, but the USB C connection stays connected the whole time and no disconnects which is great. My only complaint is the On/Off button intermittently works. To get the Switch to go from the small handheld display to the HDMI display I would occasionally need to lift the Switch on and off the docking station to get the system to recognize the HDMI device. Sometimes pushing the button would work, illuminating the BLUE LED and sometimes not. Keep in mind I would unplug and plug in the Switch about 3-4 times a day so it had a lot of cycles.I think if you used this at home on a TV in a different bedroom and less frequent dock/undocking this product is excellent. For frequent cycles, this product still works but requires extra steps to get it just right.

Dock stopped working | Update: 10/18/22 Seller has replaced the dock for free per their Warranty
I purchased this dock on March 11th, to use as a dock in our living room. It worked fine for a few months, even though it charges the Switch incredibly slow, so I decided to take my switch on vacation with family. After hooking it up on vacation, dock wouldn't output video but would still charge the switch. I chalked it up to a bad power cord or bad HDMI cable I brought, since I left the original ones at home. But once I got back home, the dock is still not working, even with the cords it had been working with for months. The $30 I spent isn't a lot of money, but I would expect the dock to last more than 4 months.Update: 10/13/22 - The seller has reached out to me and offered a replacement at no cost to me. Once I recieve the item I will modify my rating to reflect the customer service.Update: 10/18/22 - I received the item from the seller, and currently it is working fine. I will update my review to 5 stars, assuming that the first one I got was defective. Kudos to the seller for following up and replacing it at no charge.

Yup, Recommended, seriously.
I don't understand how didn't Nintendo think of this, mostly because they made the switch with three modes in mind, TV, Handheld and Tabletop, I peraonally used only Handheld and TV for a while, until I started to need the Table Top mode and it was too annoying to not be able to connect my USB headset as well as the charger, since the USB port is under the console. This Fixes everything, is so good, I can use Tabletop and charge the console connect my devices and is also waaaaay more comfortable than the original dock for traveling since is very small, the only thing that is missing would be an integrated RJ45 port for ethernet( I have the oled model, but in a future 2.0 revision this could work for both the normal and oled models ) With that it would left the original dock OBSOLETE.

little disappointing
Web site makes this appear to be a full size charger, however was not and did not come with any charging cords or connecting cords.

0 Stars! Destroyed my Switch! DO NOT BUY!!!
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this Switch docking station from Amazon thinking that the worst that could happen would be that it might not work and that I could send it back with amazons impeccable return policy. I couldn’t have been more wrong. After plugging this dock into my secondary television I took my switch off the factory dock in the other room I had been playing in and placed it onto this ponkor dock. The screen turned on for about 3 seconds showing that it was charging, then turned off and will not turn back on no matter what I do. My television never even recognized that it was connected to anything. The Ponkor dock isn’t a dock, it is a switch destruction device. What will Amazon and Ponkor do to make this right? Probably nothing! I urge you to run from this product and if this has already happened to you then I urge you to report incorrect product information on it and get it taken off Amazon!
