Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This is now my 3rd Eachine Drone and they keep knocking it out of the park. I already had an E58 and an E511s but wanted something a bit more substantial for when its windy and something with a good quality camera.I looked at a few other drones before deciding that another Eachine drone was the way to go. Through this review I compare the EX3 to the E511S as that's my best reference. Please don't feel that the E511S drone is no good. It's amazing for the price.... the EX3 is just a bit better.Opening the box, I was immediately impressed by the presentation. Plain black boxes containing the detailed and helpful manuals in one, spare blades and a screwdriver in another and a charger in the 3rd.I immediately popped the battery out of the drone and placed it into the charger, plugging it in using one of the 2 USB C ports. (If you charge 2 batteries it will take twice as long or you can connect 2 USB cables to the charger to charge 2 batteries in the same time it takes 1 cable to charge 1 battery).There were no signs of the battery charging but then I realised that there is a piece of foam packaging around the collar of the battery to stop it connecting to the drone during shipping. I removed that and the battery started to charge. The charging indicators couldn't be better. Huge, bright and right in the middle. No subtle flashing LED lights under a plug here!!!This drone is very different my previous drones and everything about it feels better quality.For a start this drone comes in at 640 grams which is over twice the weight of my E511S and this is due to the quality and features of the drone.For a start you get 4 good sized brushless motors which have plenty of power to manoeuvre the drone and it never feels underpowered.The quality of the brushless motors is apparent in the almost silent start up compared to my E511S which uses coreless motors. The throttle response is immediate showing that the motors are not 'just coping' but are really up to the job.In the air, the hover is nice and stable with very little drift. The response to inputs is very quick and I need to practice, slower and smoother inputs to get some smoother footage to do the drone justice.The 2k camera on the front of the drone is great. You can control the up / down movement from the controller and set it of recording video or taking photographs. The footage is great and I have attached a video to my review. Whilst it may not have the 100% clarity some of the big-name action cameras, you have to remember, this drone doesn't even cost as much as one of those cameras so what you're getting is brilliant.The controller is fantastic. I love the display in the middle which gives all of the important information and the holder is much better than the one which pops out of the bottom as it puts your phone in the best place to view it. I'm not a big fan of the fake aerials though and I wish they would stop putting them on top as they just get in the way.... or turn them into aerials and make them useful.The controls are clear, with pictures on the buttons to show you what they do and the sticks feel high quality with no spongy feeling to them.The app X-Drone is suggested and QR codes are provided in the instructions to download it from the play store or that other fruity place which shall remain nameless.Sadly, at this moment in time there appears to be an issue with the app which means a few people are reporting it won’t load correctly. I've had this issue but thankfully X-Drone Pro is available for free which is effectively the same App but from what I can gather is aimed towards FPV (First Person View) rather than displaying a map to enable the waypoint function etc. I'm hopeful that this will be rectified soon though.Flight time is amazing, I thought 20 minutes was going to be an over estimation but it's not. I've gotten over 20 minutes every time I've used it.With GPS, 5G Wifi FPV, Optical Flow, Ultrasonic sensors and a Barometer this is a very smart drone although it's missing Headless Mode which is strange however this doesn't come with prop guards either showing that this drone isn't for the beginner and is aimed at the more experienced pilot.In summary, this drone blew my expectations out of the park. It gives you lots of confidence in what it's doing and it's so stable when hovering that I had no reservations about looking away from it to play with the control and some of the features.I LOVE IT!!!*** If you've found this review helpful, please hit the "helpful" button as it makes writing them worth while ***

It's a hobby item which is another way of saying you'll need to learn how to use it properly but will have loads of when you do.It looks the business and the retractable arms makes this so much cooler. Make sure to read the instructions as there are things you need to know like holding the unlock button while turning it on (which took me a while to figure out) and most importantly you'll need to look at the list of what the coloured flashing lights mean as they will help you get it working.It holds its balance perfectly. Make sure to always have the camera facing away from you so your left is the same as the drones left making flying easier. Also understand rules in the UK such as not flying the drone over people or houses and obviously not near airports.Once you get a good understanding of the basics you can start playing with the impressive features like follow me mode, return to home and hand gestures. Just remember to buy a 32gb class 10 SD card and get the X-Drone app. It's a superb kit and well worth the investment for an instant new hobby!

Absolutely love this drone. I had a syma x5c previously but this is a while other level. It feels solid at over half a kg and you can feel that when flying.I have tried all the features and all work. I have found the return to home can land 2-3 meters from where it took off but the fact that it comes back close, you can take over then.The fpv works well, I havent tested how far it will work yet but sent it 120m straight up and worked fine. It wouldn't go any higher than that.The controls work well and the buttons are well layed out so you don't have to look down at all.I did have one crash in the back garden with a slide and it survived well which was a relief.I have flown it in breezy conditions also and it was still controllable. Just needed some more input when hovering.I thought the picture quality was great from the SD card, I just have to remember to move a bit slower so i don't get dizzy when rewatching later.The lights underneath are bright also for evening flights and the extra light you can turn on alloys you to see it clearly in the day.The information on the controller is excellent, you get height, distance from you, drone battery level and number of GPS satellites all on the little screen.I havent timed how long the battery lasts but the estimate of 20mins is accurate I would say. The 4hr wait for it to charge is a killer so a second battery would definitely be nice.One thing I read elsewhere, when using the xdrone app on my android phone, it would connect to the WiFi but wouldn't do anything. However when connected to an iPhone, it worked fine. You need to disable the mobile data on your Android phone and the app works brilliant then. You just have to open the app with the data enabled so you can get the Google maps data but then disable it to use with the drone.I have already been recommending this drone to friends that are interested in flying. The value for money is excellent.

Brilliant level entry drone. Really easy to set up as well as to fly, but still high level experience.Much easier to connect control to drone than any other we have, and always calibrates after 3 turns on each axis so in no time at all you are really to fly.It has lots of extra features that are a real bonus for the price. Its a good strong build, great as I crashed it into my fence RTH is a bit out) and no damage at all apart from a small nick out of 1 of the props which is why it has red replacements in the pic. black replacements are included, but as they come in a good protective case I kept them to carry with me in case of an emergency repair when I'm out and about.The motors are very quiet. The controls are responsive and it hovers rock solid.Really pleased and impressed with my purchase at such a good price. Recommended.
