Small and sleek but still great sound and battery power!
I ordered myself an MP3 player a few weeks ago to work on my foreign language, but my daughter basically hijacked it so I got myself a new one. This one has a title more memory, sound quality is great, its compact and sleek, and comes with several nice accessories. It comes with headphones, a pouch for storage, and an armband for exercise. Also, I had room to add lots of music, its way better for working out because its so much smaller than my phone.

Works well and a fair price.
I had an older I-Pod Nano that finally quit. This one is the same size, works and sounds just as good, and easier to load music to. I connected it to a computer with Windows 10 and it saw it as a USB memory stick. No drivers or program needed. Opened the the USB and there is already pre-made folders for music, photos, books, and a few others. I just dragged and dropped my music from the computer to the music folder. Did the same with some pictures. If you wanted to have separate folders for your music, it's as easy as doing it on the computer and loading by drag and drop. The blue tooth worked well and easily connected to my Exogear and Sony blue tooth speakers but it only accepts one at a time. I've gone to 30 feet, line of sight, and the blue tooth was still connected. The FM radio works well but the earbuds are needed to work as the antenna. It's own little speaker isn't much but you can still hear your music. I used it for 4 hours and still had over half battery life. Unfortunately no way to replace the battery if needed. I hope this one lasts for a number of years. It may not sound as good as some of the much more expensive ones but it works well at a reasonable price.

Fatal Flaw
Product feels well-made with metal body but there is a serious flaw. Both in-line/headphone connectors at base of mp3 player are bad. Sound was bad, without bass (low frequencies) when headphone connector is pushed (connected) all the way in - as it should be. I need to pull out my headphone connector about 0.3 cm and hold it in that ridiculous position with my hand for the sound to be favorable. Obviously no one should need or be expected to hold their headphone connector that way while listening to music. I think the design of the inline connectors are bad because they are sort of angled (even if one pushes the headphone connector as deep as one wish, it still sticks out a bit). Note that the unit has 2 in-line connectors at its base.First pic: Bad sound (default position is that the headphone connector sticking a bit out)Second pic: Good sound (with connector intentionally pulled out a bit)I am returning the unit. I am so disappointed that player is defective at the location where a defect should not exist. I have never owned any portable music device or any electronic device where the connector for the headphone is flawed.Calvin

More cons than pros
My iPod nano of >10 yrs finally started fritzing so knew I had to find a replacement. I picked this one based on the good reviews but it really doesn't compare to the iPod. However, I can't justify the cost nor do I want the only iPod model being made by Apple now. I did also hope I was getting a better product by paying >$50 vs some of the $20 players out there.Pros:-sturdy build, 2 plug-in jacks, accessories (male-to-male aux jack, headphones, armband carrier)-easy to use/maneuver, the directions don't tell you how to transfer music but it's easy to figure out-works well with bluetooth speaker (there seems no loss of volume on this mode)-controls/menu are easy to figure out and the buttons make sense for the most part-option for 3 different playlists that you can easily add music to from the unit directCons:-less loud w/aux plug-in on its highest volume 31 (alarm clock vol 11-12 vs iPod 5-6, car aux 22-24 vs iPod 17-18). I don't want bluetooth earbuds and have Bose noise-cancellers for long trips/airplane. It also doesn't pair to car bluetooth so you have to use an AUX cable here-the touch keys are VERY insensitive, and I have to touch the keys several times for the screen to turn back on or to use the menu-short battery life: while there are no claims about battery life, I had it fully charged, used for about 3 hours (non-consecutive) and not sure how long standby, but 12 hours from time of charge, it was dead. I did not turn the unit off, but figured it was in standby! Even my old iPod on a full charge can still last 36-48 hrs w/standby time. I will try turning this unit off to see if this improves...-poor screen resolution: not a deal breaker, but the album art cover doesn't fully fill the screen at times and the resolution is poor (the size varies from song/album and sometimes as small as a tack head). It's like a non-HD version screen-can't easily see the song title, artist, and album as it scrolls b/t these 3 on the same line-charge options: either you can "charge and transfer" during which time the unit is discoverable on your computer and you can transfer files, OR you can "charge and play" so you can still access the unit's menu. You can't do both at the same time, which I find really annoying as I like to go back and forth. Also, to switch between the 2 options you have to unplug and replug it in...-does not automatically stop playing when you unplug it from a input jack (headphones/aux), which both iPods and phones do. You have to physically hit pause or turn the thing offIf you've never owned an iPod before, this is a fine mp3 player, but if you're used to the conveniences of an iPod/cell phone and better/louder sound, I would advise you not get this. Also, I definitely need something w/better battery life where I don't have to worry about turning on/off. If the battery life is not improved w/turning off, I will definitely return and attempt at a cheaper mp3 player...

Good Product
Good product and long battery life. One thing i want to share with you guys is its headphone jack. There are two headphone jacks at the bottom of the product. So sometimes you can share the songs with your partner using the other headphone jack. If you forget to take the headphone with you, you can still use this MP3 with its own speaker. The sound quality is good. Overall, i think the MP3 is worth its price.

Perfect fit for my needs
Likes: size of memory, ease of navigation, very nice sound and adjustable equalizer, hefty feel and metal construction, expandable sd memory, portable and protected.Haven't explored some of the other options yet like pedometer, ebooks, and displaying movies. No real dislikes, but uncertain when/if it will connect with Bluetooth speaker or earbuds. Seems to switch BT off when moving to Music mode or accessing music on sd card
