These work very well. I have lots of problems with GERD and heartburn and a possible h,pylori infection. My Naturopath suggested these to help me get off the rx proton pump inhibitors that I was taking. It took awhile to work, but it does work. Naturopath also said that it would take care of the h. pylori without antibiotics which are too hard on my system.Highly recommend.

I regret using this. I took one capsule after my breakfast today, and as a result I had burping and hiccuping that is very uncomfortable. I believe this is because this medication is basically antacid. In the book "Gut Instinct, what your stomach is trying to tell you," Pierre Pallardy explains that taking antacids is the worst thing you can do for your stomach because you need an acidic environment to digest food, which is what the stomach is for. Dr. Batmanghelidj, in his book "You're Not Sick, You're Thirsty, water for Health, for Healing, for Life" seems to agree and recommends drinking water to avoid or cure heartburn. My conclusion is to drink plenty of water rather than to anything antacid.
