came in pretty quick and works well

We have a laminator that when I am using it, people know what I am doing. But this one is so quiet, that I was amazed. This is a huge bonus for me as I laminate a lot of school meal cards.

The Tru Lam TL-320E laminator definitely met my expectations. It is a medium weight laminator. It is heavier than the Scotch brand, for example. It takes longer to warm up and cool down than the Scotch brand. However, I prefer TruLam because I can laminate wider pouches than I was able to with the Scotch brand. I store the TruLam on a cart so I do not have to lift it on and off for use. I have it elevated for ventilation as it gets quite hot. Also, I use a portable fan to cool it down after use. That way I don't have to wait a long time for that to happen. Lamination Depot has excellent customer service. I definitely recommend this company for supplies.

I had this laminator for a couple of weeks now. It has done a fantastic job at laminating. It also produces enough heat to warm up a room. The only thing that bothers me is the noise it makes. It sounds like it's about to die or blow. I place a book under one side of the laminator and the noise dies down. Other than that, the laminator is great. Will keep updating as I get more use our of it.Update: it is now 05.01.2020 and the laminator has gone through hundreds of sheets. It works beautifully. It did start making a squeaky sound like it needs some oil lol. But other than that, it works great. Couldn't be happier.

Handles 10 mil pockets without needing a carrier. Temperature recommendation of 383 degrees for 10 mil was spot on. It was quiet when operating. It does get warm underneath so raise it up a little or put it on something that can take the heat. You should lower the temp to minimum setting before shutting down. The paper said the lowest setting is 140 degrees but the controller stops at 190 degrees. If you were using high heat setting, it does take about 15 minutes before the temperature gets down to 190. Hard to beat for the price.

This laminator was not what I expected. From day 1, the heat settings were incorrect. We always had to turn it up higher than the listed temperatures to get it to laminate and seal. After a few uses, it became very noisy and the plate was quite hot to touch. You have to turn the temperature down to 140 before turning it off but it only ever let us turn it down to 190. I will research a little more before purchase next time.

I got it for laminating stuff for my work truck. I set it up, and left it for a month before I gathered enough to laminate.Simple straight forward quality.Plugged it in; turned it on; set the 5 mil temp (266*F); let it heat up (not long); laminated 12 pouches (8.5x11) with 2 pages in each pouch.Perfect quality from first to last, and it laminates quick.

Everything IO laminate comes out with a curl...completely useless! I am using the TruLam pouches in several different thicknesses, and have laminated several different types of paper...all have that corner to corner curl. I have tried using the recommended settings with and without the laminating pouch, and have tried higher and lower temps to see if I could dial it in. I have even tried feeding things on the corner instead of straight in. Contacted customer service for assistance, and to their credit they were very responsive, but they did not offer any advice that helped me solve the problem. Complete waste of money for me...I wanted to love it so much...glad for those of you having good results.

Machine seems to work okay but it arrived with the control panel damaged, the overlay learly wasn't put in properly and is have sticking out, bent and ripped.
