Tight in the Hole
This is a great bladder at a terrific price. And with a couple of rinses of clean water before the first use there was no plastic taste whatsoever, a concern I had since it does kinda smell like a swimming pool air mattress right out of the box.The only problem I had was a very tight fit getting the tube through the holes in the Condor 3 Day Assault Pack . I had to force it through a few times and carefully use small scissors to "oversize" the holes, burning the edges down to prevent unraveling. It's still too tight to get the tube through with the cap in place. I have to insert the cap first then afterwards thread the bite valve through uncovered to prevent the risk of tearing off the cap strap. It may be that whoever sewed my particular pack undersized the holes just a bit, since I haven't seen this concern expressed in other reviews. A half-hour modification made everything all good. It was just below my expectations since both items are from the same manufacturer and in my opinion should work well together without the extra effort. There's more than enough water for a day's trek in the California Sierras, and it's much more convenient than stopping to pull out a water bottle. The bite valve seems tough enough to last, although the tube could be just slightly longer to be more convenient. The felt-type covering on the tube is a minor annoyance since it sticks really well to the Velcro on the pack. One thing to remember, is that it IS a bladder which means if you are not the type for right-now maintenance it's not the right choice for you. They take a lot more care than a water bottle does, and the care CANNOT wait until later.

Seems nice enough.
Just got it today. First thing I noticed was that the bladder seems to be made of fairly light material. I have no experience with other bladders from other companies so I guess I'll see how well this holds up. Of course it is protected by the heavier material of the pack. But I think I'll need to be careful around sharp objects. It is marked with water fill marks so you'll know exactly how much water you have. It has, as stated, hanger holes to hang the bag from either in the pack or in your closet which is nice. The hose attached easily and seems sturdy enough. The lid screwed in without any trouble, though I could see if you weren't careful, you could easily cross thread it. All in all, on first observation, it seems nice enough. Guess I'll see how well it holds up.

Great Alternative to Camelback - Backpacker Review
I wasn't willing to spend what REI wanted for a hydration bladder. So I found this guy on Amazon and read through the reviews. I cam to the conclusion that I would give it a try because of it's affordability.I have taken this on two backpacking trips now. It fits neatly inside of my backpack and the tube routes to the outside (nice feature on the backpack). I had clothes and other backpacking accessories constantly pushing up against the bladder and it held up.The drinking valve is different from anything I have ever seen before. After unpacking the bladder I was skeptical that it would function as expected. I was wrong.. I find it to be more durable and handy than it's leading competitor. It has an on/off switch that is very solid and the mouthpiece works extremely well. If their was one thing I would change about this bladder, it would be to make the valve more compact, it was a little difficult to get through the provided backpack hole, but it still worked. Their was plenty enough flow to fill my mouth as fast as I could drink. The screw-in top is plenty wide enough to fill it almost completely to the top. Most hydration bladders this is an impossible task, so I cannot complain about the bit of air that remained in the bladder. I hung the bladder from a tree by the provided flange and it seems durable enough.I have filled my bladder about 9-10 times now. It never had a bad taste.

Best Bladder for Your Buck!
Incredible deal for the money. The bladder works as well as other Camel bladders and I've experienced none of the funky, plasticy tastes that sometime can be found in bladder. The first use, I simply rinsed well with water, filled it up and it worked flawlessly. I've taken it on many backpacking trips and I've had no issues with leaks or crimped tubes. The wide mouth filler tube locks into place tight and the bite valve works great when your hands are occupied (riding, using walking sticks, climbing, etc).Pros:- No leaks so far (has been used often in the past two years)- Bite valve works great and never an issue with flow- No funky plastic taste- Great value for a well made bladderCons:- Unlike my Nalgene bottle, which screws onto the bottom of my Vario Water Filter, there is no real easy way to fill this all the way up to the top while backpacking and using a water filter. The wide mouth might be nice adding ice, but it makes using a filter a bit more cumbersome.Condor may have, at one point, had a poor reputation for quality. But I've had great luck with their products and this hydration bladder is no exception.

rece sacca idrica Condor
