PolypLab Polyp-Booster 100ml Bottle Reef-ROIDS Coral Fish Food (75g Reef-ROIDS + Jar)

I’ve been consistently feeding my corals reef-roids, two to three times a week, for about a year. Ive had phenomenal growth in my zoanthids, growing some frags into decent colonies. I place some into a cup of water and mix it into a broth before broadcast feeding a small amount to get the corals primed and ready to eat. Once it’s clear there’s polyp extension and feeder tentacles out, I like to direct feed each coral a small amount. I’ve had great growth, coloration, polyp extension, and overall excellent coral health. A little goes a long way and if you feed it consistently you should see some pretty impressive results and a happy reef tank. Give it a try and you may be surprised.

Overall, the same ole Reef Roids. It's taking me some time to get used to buying this in packages vs the twist top containers. Luckily, this came with both the container and the zip lock package. I'm not sure if the zip lock package helps the food to stay fresher longer or if the container works better, but nonetheless, the food quality seems to be the same and the product is functioning the same as always. The amount of food purchased is lasting a while. I only have coral in a small 15 gallon aquarium, so overfeeding can raise nutrients quickly. Due to that, I feel the value for the money is pretty high and this size package is a good deal.

The corals instantly reacted to the food, they appear to be healthy and more colorful since starting. My Bassett hound, Daisy, loves it too. I left the cabinet under the tank open and she ate the whole bag. Idk if you know this or not but this stuff smells like old, rotting fish. I came home to this stuff powdered over the floor and couch. I only got to use the roids on the coral for a week. I bought the big bag thinking it would last forever.

This would get a 5th star, but I was only using 1/4 teaspoon for a 40 breeder and the phosphates jumped pretty high. I might look into a different brand to see if there is a difference. Other than that, I have fed three times, and since then I have seen good growth in my hammer and my rhodactis has split. It really is a good product.
