I've used a few of these from various brands over the years. I picked up this set to wire up a pair of pigtail connections to work inside a closed weatherproof receptacle.I don't have much bad to say, but I do have something bad to say. I wired these up with 12/3 cord with a modest PVC outer wrap. I'm not talking about a thick armor or even something on the larger side of "normal." The problem (as I see it) is that the strain relief looks like it was designed for 14/2 lamp cord -- it's that tiny!This all went together easily enough. The individual wire wells are 18mm deep, and as with all the rest I suggest you measure and trim each individual wire length independently. The head is rotatable during assembly so the tail can be set to most any position, within a few degrees.But when it comes time to reassemble the three main pieces and install the two screws for the strain relief, good luck closing that gap. Even using 14/3 cord I'm betting there's going to be an incomplete looking assembly, leaving behind a large gap. Other brands do this better by enclosing this clamping piece inside some rails, where the gap stays hidden.Gap or not, the plug tightens up fine and seems ok in use.

The plugs are very easy to use and the ability to rotate the plug body to the direction you want the wire to exit the plug is very helpful. The plug is very sturdy and well made. A little bit expensive but I feel it was worth it giving you the ability to direct the exiting wires in the direction you wish them to go. It creates a neat appearance to the job.

I have a couple outdoor receptacles that are mounted horizontally and the cord needs to go out the bottom and that is a challenge. These keep the cord flat and turned the best way to work and still able to shut the weather cover. Also works for tight spaces behind benches and furniture etc. preventing smashing the plug and/or receptacle.

Just what I needed to fix my mini fridge. Thought the fridge was going bad but it was just the plug. I replaced it with this one and bam it’s fixed and ready. I like the ability to adjust the angle. I would buy again.

Spent a couple minutes more than I expected to take, but great result. Cord is tight to the wall.

A 10 minute effort by a high school student to create a very, very simple document would save 1000's of hours of frustration by first time customers. I've used similar products dozens of times and this one has a creative design but NON-INTUITIVE. I give it a 3 star because of the 0 star documentation. Note to manufacturer: A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS. In this case 2 or 3 simple diagrams is all you need. Hint: It doesn't even need to have any words.

I have multiple in use outlets on my property and use mostly 12gauge cords with hospital grade ends. They will not work in in use boxes and neither do most moulded end cords. I replace the hospital grade with these and can direct the cord to go directly out the opening. I also cut off any moulded ends and replace them with these plugs.

I got them to make cord flush to the wall to reduce tripping behind a work bench. The ability to change the angle allowed them to be used for the top and bottom of the outlet without them interfering with each other. Will likely get more.

A lot better than I thought they would be. Going to use them for a power cable upgrade on vintage amp. They will work very well. Heavy built.
