Good pricing for some essential mounting. Check shoe width before ordering
Seems a good bundle and happy to find the shoe is all metal and not plastic as some others I've had have been which do break. Seems good build, holds my shotgun mic well. The only issue is the diameter of the cold shoe mount is wider than the space on my shoe mount on my camcorder. Due to this, I cannot slide the shoe all the way in, but since the shoe mount allows tightening to the camera mount, I'm able to sufficiently tighten it in place. This cold shoe threaded column is about 20mm and the gap on my camcorder shoe is about 15mm. This is probably on me, since I'm using a consumer camcorder and it may not be a problem for most people.Overall, good buy.

It is good but big

Does the job, but only for smaller shotgun mik
Smaller than I expected, and is made of cheap feeling plastic and rubber bands. It does the job so for the price, it is a good deal. But I found that if I put anything but a short ‘cigarette’ mike in it, the microphone bobbed around when I moved the camera, which obviously makes recording audio impossible.

The flash shoe mount didn’t fit into the camera (fs700)…
Gotta update the diagnosis so it.can actually fit all camera flash shoe mounts…

A good product which functions as advertised...
I bought two of these to mount a pair of monophonic shotgun mics to a video camera. They are a little bulky, but lightweight and do a good job of isolating the mic bodies from any camera-generated noise, and most camera body bumps and handling noises as well. Mics mounted using this product are still sensitive to any noise caused by contact with or motion of the mic cables (although this is not the mount's fault or job) so care must be taken to isolate the mic cable from potential contact or noise sources as sell as the mic itself. Otherwise, your cable will act as a mechanical conduit which conducts noise directly up to the mic body in spite of being suspended on a shock mount. I'm pretty happy with this product if for no other reason than it provides a good way to mount mics to camera. The extra rubber bands (O-rings) are a good idea although I haven't seen any deterioration in the first set so far after using the product for several months., so I expect these won't be necessary for long while if at all.

Will Not Fit Standard Hot Shoes
I am a little stunned at all the positive reviews here. This mount will not fit any hot shoe I have on hand, including a Canon Digital Rebel, portable light stands with hot shoes, and Canon HF G50 and G60 camcorders. A hot shoe has always been a hot shoe to me (with the exceptions of Canon's mini-hot shoe)I tested a flash unit, another microphone mount and a remote adapter also in all these units with no problem. The hot shoe mount I am reviewing here goes in about a third of the way and will not go any further.

Clip not secure for MKH 616
The shock mount holds a MKH 416 well but the other clip mount does not securely hold the microphone. I would not trust it in the clip even if this is on a stationary stand.
