A Versatile Card Reader
If you have both SD and XQD cards for video/photography, this is a great adapter for use with a PC. You get an SD card slot, an XQD slot, and a USB 3.0 connector all in one. I found this adapter to work well when travelling and my laptop has only one spare USB port, so I was able to easily back up my photos using this adapter.

compact minimalistic design
Works as advertised, the one thing I really like about it is the very short cord, most computer paraphernalia the cord is obnoxiously long for no reason. It’s nice and short and not dangling all over the place. The compact minimalistic design is awesome, wish all products would all do this. No need for all the extra plastic and other stuff.

Doesn't work with newest Sony QXD 120GB card
Works fine with Sony's 32G card, but not their new 120GB Model. Midway through copying it errors out and won't read the files. I thought it was a problem with the card and almost returned it. Then i remembered my D850 has a USB cable for direct download. I used that and it copies fine.

Works perfectly but has a big footprint and a dongle
This XQD card reader worked perfectly with my only XQC card I own - a Sony 64GB XQD card. It has flexibility in that is also reads SD Cards. But I already own a USB-Stick-sized SD card reader that already does the job for SD Cards and is tiny and effective. This card reader also has a USB 3.0 pass through so you can attach other USB devices to it. But in my opinion, this is over-designed causing it to be too big and has to have a dongle. Any way you attach this reader it's going to hang off your machine. Buy it for the ease of use - it's plug-n-play, buy it for the flexibility if you need a single dual-purpose XQD/SD Card read, with a USB 3.0 pass through.

does what it says it does - no muss no fuss
Liked the fact that it has a USB out the front so that I can still use the USB port. I'm always running out on my mac but i really don't want to carry a hub - this gives me just enough. And it works as designed - easy peasey
