I've bought dozens of these. My favorite pocket knife!
I have at least a couple dozen knives. You could say I have a bit of a "thing" for them. I've got a few in my car, a few in my purse, a couple on my keychain, a lot at home, and even one on my wallet. Different sizes, designs and purposes. The Gerber para frame mini stands out as my favorite pocket knife ever. It clips right into my pocket for easy access and I use it frequently on a daily basis. As a bartender it's one of my essential tools.I buy these in bulk, because I lose things a lot and feel naked without this on my person at all times. It's like a part of my body is missing when my Gerber is!These are also one of my favorite things to gift to my bartenders for a job well done. (The other is a brass knuckle bottle opener. I like to gift things they can use for work or to defend themselves walking to their car if necessary. It's never been necessary, but better safe!)I also love the open design on this that helps it dry out fast when I need it for something wet.It also stays sharp for a ridiculous amount of time despite frequent daily use.If this isn't already your go-to pocket knife, you're doing something wrong!

My favorite knife
I've bought at least four after losing them a lot over the last 10 years and it remains to be my favorite knife and I will continue to keep buying them as long as they are being made. It's light, easy to sharpen, very slim and easy to carry in my pocket.

Great every day carry knife!
I’m really impressed with this Gerber EDC knife! It’s small, yet fits perfectly in my hand, making it comfortable for everyday carry. The blade cuts smoothly and is incredibly sharp right out of the box. It’s become my go-to tool for quick tasks, and I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. Highly recommend it for anyone in need of a reliable, compact knife!

Has the frame of a Ducati, but not the engine
Nice knife, but only a nice knife. The action is stiff, even with a drop of oil. The liner lock is solid but it does take a bit of a shove to free. The blade is sharp, but not sure what metal it is made from. 440C? 440B? or something else, it does not say. It has a nice balance, and it looks cool. sort of like the frame of Ducati, but not th engine.

Great little all purpose pocket knife
Love these little knives. I work in maintenance and having a nice sharp, small knife is a necessity for so many reasons. These things ship wicked sharp and stay that way for a good long while with little to no upkeep- and as a bonus, when I inevitably leave them behind on a job, they’re cheap to replace!

Don't rely on this for EDC. It is okay for light duty use.
It is just okay.Pros:It is relatively inexpensive at $23 (the price as of the date of this review). It is light. It looks cool. The frame lock is secure.Cons:Don't trust any knife if the product information does not contain the specific type of steel it is made with. The blade is not especially sharp. The skeletal handle is a poor choice in combination with the frame lock;it contributes to the wobble.I sharpened the knife, but it did not stay sharp for very long cutting boxes. There is a fair bit of wobble. I would not use this for heavy duty tasks. The opening action can be a bit stiff; there are some occasions where I struggle to open it with one hand.Overall, my feeling is that I wish that I had spent just slightly more money to get a better quality knife. If you want affordable, every day carry, I recommend getting a knife whose blade is made from D2, Nitro-V, or Sandvik 14c28n; those are all good "budget" steels that will outperform this for only slightly more money. If you want easy opening, look for a model that has a bearing; this increases the cost a bit also. For example, for $35-ish you can get a Civivi Mini Praxis. It has the same blade length, a strong liner lock, a ceramic bearing, a good quality synthetic grip (G10), and a much better blade. It is not as flashy as the Paraframe, but it flips so much better; that will attract attention, if that is what you want. On the other hand, if you want practical, you can get a more covert color scheme.
