New for 2019, The Shred Ready Zeta Helmet combines the style and swagger of iconic sports figures with high-tech energy management foams on a user-friendly platform. The design process for the Zeta was driven by three factors; iconic style, unparalleled protection and intuitive use. Typically, energy absorption materials are hard and uncomfortable. These harder foams are covered with softer, non-functional foams for comfort which then adds to the complexity and geometry of a helmet. Shred Ready teamed with DCLAN technologies for the solution; DCLAN foam is soft and comfortable in a normal state, but when impacted it transforms and directs energy away from users head, achieving both comfort and protection in one material. There are some solid new features with the Zeta as well. We added a newly designed - single hand adjustable “Hand of God” occipital lock utilizing the BOA reel and lacing system while reducing it’s overall foot print. A new strap configuration adds overall comfort and stability followed by strap adjusters with some new flavor. We also added crucial protection around the temple area with our new temple guards and LDP (light deflection paint) to the underside of the brim to reduce glare. Great helmet
This is probably the best helmet I’ve ever owned. I recently had the worst crash of my life. My head hit the street with such force that I may not be sitting here writing a review now had it not been for this helmet. Fortunately I was wearing it and, while I’ve still got a sore neck from the impact, I was able walk away with absolutely no head trauma.On a side note, not only does the bill look good, but I think it being there saved my face.

Stylish and comfortable, but falls off easily
I love the way this helmet looks and feels. I struggle to find helmets that fit well and look good on me, and this one does the trick. However, it has the same issue as the Sweet Protection Strutter. It's way too easy for the the lid to pulled off your head by water pressure, exposing your head to damage, and choking you with the chin strap. I'd recommend only using this helmet for rafting or mild river running in a kayak. Don't wear this helmet if you might get chunderd in a hydraulic, or tossed around in big water.

Choking hazard
Very comfortable helmet. I dont kayak but wakeboard and kiteboard. I like a bill on my helmet it helps with the sun. Problem with helmet is it sets a little weird and in my crashes it pulls back and starts to choke me. Before this I had the Sweet Strutter and this was never a problem.On the plus side I can wear sunglasses with this helmet. Just took a little bending of the temple guards.I have cut the bill back and it helps a lot. But for this price I should not have to modify it nor should it become a noose in heavy conditions.
