No volume control, too loud for migraineur
I was hoping there would be an option to adjust the alarm volume, I am easily prone to migraines and it reaches a high frequency pitch and very loud volume that are physically painful and a risk to cause a migraine, especially on a bad morning if I'm dealing with other migraine triggers. Not everyone's "loudest" volume is the same, and I would like a product to trust its customers to see to their own needs--I'm buying it because I want it to annoy me, so if I had set the volume too low and it didn't wake me, that would be on me. However, I'm buying it to annoy me, not to hurt me.Also, the snooze button didn't really work, i stabbed it as hard as possible and it just kept screaming so I had to use the alarm on/off button. I may have just gotten a defective unit though. The written instructions could do with a bit better labeling on the diagram, for instance the button which is physically marked on the device with an "A" is helpfully labeled on the instructions as just... "A". It would make setup faster if it labeled it as "alarm", similarly for the "T", "H", "M", and most importantly it would have been helpful to have the image icon buttons labeled with what they are. The little tiny embossed bell icon and the circle icon are not immediately intuitive as to what they are, but they're referred to by name in the written instructions as the "alarm" button and the "wheels" button. Not life-breakingly difficult, but if the manufacturer wants to optimize their instruction manual, these are my suggestions. If you have vision problems, the button letters/icons are very tiny and are simply embossed, they are not marked in ink, so that may or may not be a dealbreaker for you.Ideally it would be helpful if the backlight could be tapped to light up, I think tapping the snooze button may do that though. As with all modern electronics, the LED backlight is a bright blue, so it's good for waking you up but not great if you just want to check the time during the night--again, maybe not a dealbreaker for you. I know it would increase the cost of production to add an RGB adjustment function, that would be cool to have though. I am very pleased that the display numbers themselves are just LCD with a backlight rather than always-on LED numbers, that's not common to find and is a preference for me.The battery compartment lid is very fiddly and it makes it annoying to change the batteries, it would be much easier to use if it had a click-in-place latch that you can then screw closed rather than just a screw closure. The wheels have a rubberized coating, and it does indeed zoom around chaotically very well. It's well weighted to right itself and keep the display upright.

Quiet
The media could not be loaded. It does do what it's designed to do, and although it doesn't roam very far you can place it further away. The only problem I have is that it's very quiet. I'm a heavy sleeper, and I go to bed late and wake up early pretty often, so I got this hoping it would have a better chance at waking me up than my other alarm, but I find that the sound level is quite tame and there isn't a way to adjust it. For those of us with light sleep I think it's a great tool, but not so much for the more heavy sleepers. For reference, I place it around three feet away on the desk beside me and found myself failing to wake up to it's noise. It is very cute though... And its very user friendly as well.

Runs in circles
It doesn't run away, just spins in circles. But it gets me up!!!! Only thing that really does.

This is the coolest thing since sliced bread!
Love it but wish it was louder. This is the coolest thing since sliced bread! I’m very grumpy in the morning and thought this would just piss me off but it doesn’t. I do wish it rang louder.

I love it, my girlfriend hates it, I'm never late.
As a nursing student, I generally live off of no sleep. Thus, when I do get the opportunity to sleep, I am dead to the world and difficult to wake up. I tried placing my phone's alarm away from me, but I found myself letting it ring endlessly while I slept. So, I decided to try Clocky, after seeing a YouTuber talk about it. I came in, and I have yet to look back! If the initial fall of the clock doesn't wake you up, the abrupt beeping and radio-surfing noises will. It flashes the screen light, making it easy to find, and it feels like it is trying to get away from you. The only downside to this product, is the terror that it will bring to anyone you share a bed with. My girlfriend hates this product, but school is going to attend itself! I highly recommend this for anyone who has a hard time waking up, especially after 16-45+ hour days! I do wish that the company would come up with a template, so that I could make a sticker, to give Clocky a face. I already named him "Richard". A face would be nice to go with the name!

Clocky is my new best friend
This little guy saved me. I was at the point where my light alarm clock, combined with the Sonic Bomb AND two alarms on my phone wouldn't get me up. I'd snooze the Sonic Bomb (and phone alarms) just like I would any other alarm clock. Annoying. I was at my breaking point, and seriously considered taping thumb tacks to the snooze button (not a joke). I was very much the skeptic, but decided to give Clocky a try. I am now able to get up when I need to to exercise, and no longer use my Sonic Bomb or my phone alarms. I had five alarms going off. FIVE! I still use my light-up alarm because it helps waking up to some light, but Clocky goes off first. By the time I chase him down, I'm turning off my other alarms and getting ready for my workout. As soon as he hits the floor I'm up. This clock has made all the difference in getting me on a much-needed routine. If you abuse the snooze, give it a shot. What do you have to lose?

I hate this alarm clock, but I don’t have trouble waking up
Product works as promised so I gave it 4 stars, but don’t buy if you just need a normal wake up call. My 6-year-old wanted it because he thought it would be fun to chase but the noises are very loud and not adjustable. It’s grating. It’s also easy to get the time switched from 12 hour to military and it’s hard to switch back.

It works
This is the second time I've owned this clock. My last was a bit better (it had mp3 ability) but it is loud, sounds like R2D2 causing chaos and roams around to play catch essentially. I got this one for the kids and it definitely works.

love it but like the others say
Fab, love it but like the others say, it doesn't move around a lot. It wheels itself around on the one spot. It would be even better if it moved itself around the bedroom floor more :D It is great though. Glad I bought it.

Nice product but extremely annoying
It looks nice - really solid and well made. Probably great for teens, but not for my 9 year old. It's not that easy to see what it's set to do... the kids don't hear it (naturally!) but I've lost count of the number of times we've been woken up at a ridiculous hour by the sound of it going berserk 'somewhere' in the house. It's on the naughty self until they are 21.
