The Triplett FiberTest VFL (3340) is a visual fiber fault locator with a powerful 5mW 650nm laser. This tool performs visual check of fiber optic cables with 3 different test signals: continuous wave, slow pulse, and rapid pulse. It has a universal 2.5mm fitting for testing cables with ST, SC, and FC male connectors and will also identify TOSLINK cables. A red "test in progress" LED indicates that the unit is on. A rolling collar prevents the button from accidentally being turned on/off. Transmits up to 6 miles (10km). Includes carrying case and two AA batteries.
