WONDERFUL MOVIE
The movie took me back to my story of having breast cancer it took me back to the pain and all the feelings . I've cried when I was watching the movie. When I got the cancer I have been totally alone, I had no family and good friends around me at that time in USA and I was here illegal, I've came here from Poland. I was really in very bad situation back then, and I met my husband online too, like in the movie, we had sent messages to each other for about two months, after that we met each other in person. Today 01.03.2019 is our 10 years anniversary, we are very good marriage, and I am US citizen now. I am thinking about to write a book about my strange bad and good story. I hope one day I will, I have really a lot to write about my whole life...

The story intrigued me, but the ending was disappointing. I don't know why some say she was not a good actress, I thought she was very good, but her mother was not. I couldn't help wondering how she could not work for over a year and have a nice home, shop for plants and buy an airline ticket...

Very warm and moving film
Overall, this film is incredibly moving emotionally. Although it begins a bit laboriously, I determined that that the plodding and depressing pace of the film was a plot element and necessary. Indeed, for a two and a half hour film, it was difficult to wade through at first, but the ending really does justify it. I myself was a cancer survivor . . . twice . . . although I had Hodgkins Lymphoma rather than breast cancer. It's a big decision to undergo chemo and it's shocking news being told you have stage 3 cancer. Having that happen twice was definitely a shock. The lead actress (Ashley Adams (Becca)) is indeed a beautiful young woman, and she plays the part incredibly well and with great conviction. I was already in tears as the plot unfolded to reveal Dean being a positive-minded quadriplegic near the end. The film didn't feel at all contrived.

Difficult subject matter but in the end, a moving film
I had trouble with watching this movie at first because it was so bleak. It is about a young woman surviving breast cancer, surgery, depression, on disability, with no interest in life and a bad relationship with her mother. Her brother gives her a laptop and has set her up on a genealogy website to ignite her past interest in it. There, she receives "1 Message" and becomes friends with a computer-geek who helps her through things in her life (this part of the film is pretty neat). One-day-at-a-time she gets through things with the guy who responded to her original request regarding extended family. A lot of personal healing takes place in her life and then, she makes the move to meet her computer-geek guy. I don't think I could watch it again, but I'm glad I watched it all the way through after starting it.

One of the best movies I saw this year
This movie really touched me. This movie was inspiring from her journey with breast cancer to the beautiful love she finds. Jefferson Moore and Kelly Worthington left a special movie of hope. Underlying in this movie is that Jefferson’s mother had breast cancer, like sadly so many other women. Thank you Jefferson and Kelly for your inspirational, faith-filled movies!

Beyond uplifting!!!
I love this movie and continue to love it each time I view it. It certainly snatches quite a few tears from me. That is okay. Those tears are a sure sign I am alive, and compassionate and get the message. I praise God for all of the people involved in this venture. I can not encourage anyone considering this movie enough. Put all of your preconceived notions aside and just enjoy. Loving thoughts. Be blessed. :) Mark Smeby, you rock!! Jefferson Moore and Kelly, you continue to amaze me.!

A touching journey to triumph and victory.
I must admit that i am a huge fan of Jefferson Moore.I have all of his films on dvd and absolutely love,"The perfect gift."Read my review of it to find out how much i like the film. This film has his usual group of regulars popping up.People that we have seen in his various other films. It is dominated by a tremendous performance by Ashley Kate Adams. In a larger budget, bigger studio picture she would have surely been up for award after award for her performance in this movie. As a cancer victim, she is moving, touching and vulnerable. We feel for her as this disease and it"s effects shatter her life. This is also a film of hope and triumph. It"s central message is that true beauty is on the inside, not the outside and we are presented with people that the world has rejected seen in their true beauty as God sees them>this film is not overtly evangelical,as Moore"s other films are,but that does not detract from it"s message that God loves each one of us and we are important to Him,whether we are healthy or not, disabled or not.loved or hated by the world. This is a fabulous film.It is long, but i didn"t feel i was sitting through a two and a half hour film when i saw it.We share with Ashley on her journey to victory and we learn how one person can literally change the world for somebody else by simply sharing God"s love. This is a triumph for Jefferson and all involved.Buy this film and experience it.As a bonus, money from every copy sold is going to cancer charity.Thank you Jefferson and all at Kellys filmworks.

I think this is a wonderful story in that it shows how wonderful life can ...
A lovely story based on forgiveness. It sometimes is a hard thing to do but in the end you are forgiving for yourself not for the other person. I think this is a wonderful story in that it shows how wonderful life can be when you stop blaming others and not live in your past life. Move forward with grace and love.

A decent presentation about the message of Restoration and Hope
I like the message of hope that can be seen in this movie. It was refreshing to see how a state of hopelessness can suddenly turn into a state of joy and happiness. It highlighted the importance of friendship, forgiveness (toward oneself and others), self-confidence and shifting of trust and faith on God. It is not the typical movie with action scenes or thrill. It is just a simple, inspiring story meant to challenge many of us to see the bigger picture and appreciate the truth that no one is beyond repair. The only negative for me was how the movie ended. Not so much negative as to detract from the niceness of the film, but in the sense of the deflating feeling it created. Whilst I was happy to see that someone in a worse situation than the lady could see only the good side of life, it was depressing to see the revelation that unfolded (which I will leave viewers to discover themselves). But anyway, going any further would result in spilling more than I should, so I leave you to decide if this movie floats your boat or not. For me, it is deserving of 4 stars.
