2018 Grand Cherokee
Used this pan on my 2018 Grand Cherokee. It's a little different from the original pan and filter but it seems to be working fine. I wanted to wait until I put some miles on it to make sure everything was working correctly. I recommend measuring the fluid you remove (which was 4.5 qts) and putting the same back in. Then take it for a short drive going through all the gears getting the transmission up to around 100 degrees F. Then on a level surface check the level. A couple things I've learned is use the correct fluid. Either Mopar 8 9 speed or lifeguard 8. These transmissions are extremely sensitive to fluid level and fluid type so too much or too little and you'll definitely be able to tell. With that being said having the vehicle on a level surface is critical as well as checking the level at the correct temperature (100-120 degrees F). The 4 bolts in the front are a little difficult to get to so be patient. It's definitely a quality part and made by ZF the same company that makes the transmission. I was just concerned because it says it doesn't fit the Jeep Grand Cherokee but I suppose an 8hp50 ZF transmission is the same no matter what brand vehicle it's in. Good luck fellow DIYers

2013 Ram 8 Speed
My truck is a 2013 Ram 1500 Laramie 4x4 with a 5.7 hemi and 8 speed. As far as fit and finish it is almost identical to the original. The magnets are not as strong. I kind of thought I was getting a removable filter. But this filter is attached to the pan. The depth of the pan seemed to be exactly like the old one.It came with the right amount of bolts. Ensure not to over tighten. I snapped one like an idiot. 10 newton meters is about 7.4 ft lbs. They still might be a little tighter than that right now and no leaks so far.It also comes with an extra fill plug. I wondered why until I stripped the original one trying to get it out. Then spent another couple hours messing with it. Had to use a hammer and chisel to get it loose.Ran it through filling procedures running through the gears, letting get hot, filling again, burning my finger, and etc.I wish this was a review of the folks who decided to put the exhaust crossover pipe directly under the drain plug, and the fill plug. And then conveniently put the y pipe of the exhaust right up against the full plug. Thank you for that. And why this fill plug has to be so tight doesn’t make any sense. German over engineering?

Great Replacement 2014 Grand Cherokee
Jeep dealer always told me that the transmission oil in the WK2 transmission was "lifetime" and wow that is BS. Was able to pull the plug on the old transmission and get about 3.5L of really dirty trans fluid out. Dropped the pan and was able to get the new pan on pretty easily. 13 total bolts. My biggest concern was the fill process, which requires you to run the vehicle and get the trans temp up to around 120 (mine got up to about 130 after letting it run for a bit). Overall I got about 3.5L out and put around 4.5L back in! Oil pan and magnets were all gunked up and with a 173K miles on my Jeep, I'm really happy to have done this project. Just make sure to run the Mopar 8/9 speed trans oil or get the direct stuff from ZF. With a lift the project took about 2.5hrs.

If you have a car with ZF TRANS USE A ZF FILTER
If you have a ZF transmission this is THE ONLY FILTER YOU SHOULD USE bought an off brand fit okay but had one of the magnets broke when arrived the inlet port where fluid flows was not shaped well this transmission pan/ filters are plastic. The ZF brand is OEM build quality is the best
