really cool item, no pun intended... Makes ice round as can be. The first time you use them... there is a trick I found works well. Fill water about 1/8-inch past the white water fill line. If water spills over and out the top that is fine. Also, when they are frozen, twist the tray like you would a regular ice cube tray, to break the ice and keep the spheres round. Too much fun!

It works great. I fill it just barely up to the fill line. A little trial and error is necessary.

I ordered this ice maker as a sample for review and evaluation and I love it! It's an excellent quality and works great. I have a few other molds and what I like about this one is there is a fill line to help guide you. At first I overfilled them so they cracked but once I filled it to the line it worked great (be careful you can also under fill them) so practice with water first to get a feel for it. This is a great size too, it fits in all my cups and glasses and lasts for a long time (well after my drink is finished and even a second drink). I plan to use these for color ice as well for my daughter's birthday. Overall I love the ice mold and have had no issues with it, it's easy to clean and easy to pop the ice balls out. I love it!

This is one of the absolute best ways to make ice balls. Its easy to do the silicone tray has a fill line -- lay the tray on a flat surface and fill to that fill line, push the top down slowly then put it in the freezer, when it is done freezing take the tray out and twist it to break apart. It twists with ease and it is very durable. The ice balls make your drinks not water down but keeps them cold. Plus they look amazing in your glass! If you are looking for a great ice ball maker, this is it. Once you start using these you won't want to use your old ice trays!! I totally recommend these!

It is so much fun to make ice in these molds, the ice comes out roundly shaped and helps prevent your drinks from diluting. So I guess making ice balls are harder than they look! I tried for the first time and it's ice, not perfectly round like the pictures but still usable of course. I'm sure after a few more times it'll look better. Easy to follow instructions. Durable silicone for breaking them out of their mold. I think the next time I make some ice I'll put some fruit in them.I received a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.
