So Close, but Not Quite. Update: Closer Than I Thought.
Although the bag is a bit small, it's adequate for a small setup. The canvas is rugged and the zippers and metal buckles are of surprisingly good quality for the price. If that was where it stopped, I'd give this five stars for sure. Sadly, the manufacturer decided to cheap out on the buckle that is used to secure the bag around the waist as well as the clips that tighten the belt to the desired size. The clips and buckle are cheap plastic and I'm afraid won't hold up to heavy use. I also worry that the clips will constantly loosen allowing the bag to potentially slip down the waist. I'll revisit this review if the bag ends up working out better than I expect it to, but I doubt that will be the case. In the meantime, I'll look into a work around to keep the belt from loosening.Update: Used this for a wedding this past weekend. Used it to keep extra Leica lenses and batteries as well as film on me. I had it loaded down pretty good and I was pleasantly surprised how well it stayed up. It seems the cheap little plastic clips are only there to keep the excess slack in the belt from flapping around and don't actually have a part in keeping the belt tight. I still think they could be designed better, but they aren't quite the deal breaker I thought they were. I've bumped the product from 3 to 4 stars accordingly.

Great Lens and Accessory Pack
It's not a "camera bag," folks! It's a great waist pack for comfortably holding an extra lens (or two, if they are smaller ones) PLUS photo accessories, such as spare batteries, battery charger, memory cards, polarizing filters, lens cleaning supplies, etc. It is VERY strong and well made. I expect it to last for many, many years of frequent use. As an example, I put my "beast" of an L-series zoom lens -- Canon EF 28-300mm and hood (reversed for storage) into the large pocket, with room to spare. Just as I put it on my waist (with the "beast" lens inside), I was distracted by a delivery at the door, followed immediately by a phone call. Then, I made a difficult length adjustment on my Black Rapid camera strap, while still comfortably wearing the waist pack with my "beast" lens inside. It is a great pack (at a good price) for the purposes for which it was designed. I can't reasonably expect more than that.

Nice, but really small
I got this because it doesn't scream "camera" and is way smaller than most bags. I wanted a waist bag for a Nikon 1; I have two, a J1 and a V1, and they are either lost in most camera bags, which appear to be made for much bigger cameras, and won't fit in bags made for point and shoots, which don't leave room for the lens. It's nicely made, has a waist belt that appears to allow anything up to a medium-sized sumo wrestler to wear it. I'll be shortening that a foot or two, I think. The snaps that hold down the top flap are a little fiddly, but not necessary since the top zips, too. Nothing's going to fall out. The zippers are big and of high quality. The J1, the smaller of the two, fits nicely in the padded compartment, either standing up or lying down, with the 10-30mm zoom. Plenty of room for camera, spare battery, etc.The V1 almost fits; it's about a cm deeper and taller, and it's a squeeze standing up, and even more so lying flat. It probably would fit a little better with the 10mm pancake lens. It doesl fit, but it's really snug, to the point where it's a little difficult to get the camera out. Anything bigger than the V1, and that's almost everything, probably won't fit. A V2 won't for sure, and I doubt the Oly E-M5 or -10 or most of the other 4/3 cameras would fit, either. A point and shoot, or something with a retractable lens such as a P7100 should fit fine. The issue is that there's a removable padded liner, about a cm thick all 'round, that goes in the bag and makes for a snug fit. The liner even has a padded top with velcro closure, so the camera is well protected. Of course, with the liner removed, it's much roomier, but then it's not very protective. I'd have gone with 5 stars except for the fiddly snaps and way-too-long belt; who is this made for, anyway? Nobody's that big.All in all, nice bag, good price, watch the size, though.

Good for Olympus OM-D field trips!
I took road trip to DC with a decent sized SLR bag and my OM-D E-M1 a few weeks ago. After a couple hours lugging that full bag around I was regretting bringing everything. I never even swapped lenses or batteries although there were some indoor situations where I would have liked to, dealing with the regular bag among what seemed like a million tourists was a show-stopper.Additionally, having to put that "steal me I'm big money camera stuff" bag next to me in restaurants etc was a constant distraction all day.I thought on many occasions "if I just had a small waist pack to stash two lenses and batteries in, that's all I need. I will take the kids down again on a Saturday soon for a proper civics lesson and try out this new waist pack. So far it fits just what I need and no more. I was a little surprised at it's small size when it arrived though. The attached pics show my 50mm prime lens, and my 40-120mm zoom. Attached to the strap is a Tamrac battery holder that I have had for years. I don't know if I could squeeze even one battery into the bag now. Inside the front pouch is the little flash that comes with the EM-1 and my pack of 12 memory cards. If you want just a basic lightweight bag for maximum mobility, and you DON"T NEED ROOM for a flash and the extras, this is the one. I can't wait to try it in the field.
