Doors are finally back up and staying up
Helped my son rehang his heavy wood sliding closet doors. The track he had would allow the doors to come off if you angled the doors and popped out the wheeled bracket. After installing the new brackets provided in the kit, we found we couldn't get the doors back on the new track as the wheels just wouldn't fit no matter how we angled the door (somewhat limited given the shelving unit in the closet). Plan B was to take the brackets off the door and instead hang them in the track - much easier to get the wheels in the track without the burden of the doors and they definitely were captured with no danger of popping off. Then, with someone holding the door at the right height, screw the brackets into the door (definitely a 2 person job with colorful language involved). I also followed the instructions to pre-drill and mount the new brackets starting 1 - 1.5 inches from the door edge. That's not where the original brackets were. It's been several days now and despite avid attempts by the dogs and cats to get to their beloved pet food, they have not been able to derail these doors. Neither have the kids whose first thought is to open the sliding doors as if they were regular doors that pivot out. Fingers crossed that this task stays off the "to-do" fix it list!

Won't work on 1 3/8" doors!
There is not enough space between tracks to take 1 3/8" doors (as advertised). The plastic adjusting wheel (flimsy) sticks out too far on the front sliding door and hits the front of the back door. Doen't work! Now I have to get 3/4" doors or different hardware. What a struggle! Update: I just ordered item #23-500 2 Door Sliding Closet Door Track Kit, 4ft, from swisco.com that is also for 1 3/8" doors but this hardware has a top track that's 11/16" wider than this one. Will update again to see if this one works.

Great product and price.
I have a base below a bookcase that I going build a new cabinet for and I wanted bypass doors instead of hinged doors. This item's track is the exact length I need to do that.
