Mathias Time Classics - Brown Leather White Dial - Analog Watch

I purchased this watch expecting the face to be near as white as this web page you see the sample image. It's not. It's more grey. This doesn't make it a bad watch, just not what I was going for. I'm VERY tough in my nuanced needs. So I won't criticize something I willingly purchased. The owner offered me a refund, and I decided to keep it and make it work with something when the time comes.The watch has good construction. The band is good too. I lament that if I want the stitches on the band to settle, I have to wear it a lot, but I have other watches and as I said, this won't be a goto watch for me. I like bands that are thick without stitches so this one is good but misses the mark just a bit in my book. Of course there are plenty of bands for sale out there, that may also be a solution for myself and others considering this watch.For the price, it's a good buy even if I don't intend to wear it but rarely.

Really great watch. I loved it. The only reason why I did 4 stars is because the strap started breaking around the 7 month mark and I wasn't being too rough on it I think, the strap itself is not the best quality but it does look good. Overall I great watch and I got a lot of compliments on it

Update: August 2018I meant to write this a while a go, but life got in the way.Since the last review in January 2016, I wore the watch with no incident up until March 2016.The leather straps cracked and split. I did not exercise nor swim with it. In fact, I think it's been long enough since I even thought about such a thing, I very nearly forgot what exercise was.I replaced the strap. A week later, the crystal (glass) popped off.I had it put back by a watchmaker friend.A few weeks later,I noticed that it was running slow, and it stopped altogether. Suspecting a dead battery, I replaced it. A week later , the watch stopped again. This is when I noticed the hands were loose. A day later, the hands fell off.As you can see, I've given this watch more than its due chance. So, I shoved it in a drawer where all things that should be eternally damned go.I really wanted to like this watch, really wanted to shop the little guys.Well, this little guy clearly demonstrates why he's being squished by large conglomerates.Anything this shoddy should be shot.It is pretty, for sure. The workmanship is terrible as testified. What's more important? That's your choice.----------January 2016I've been wearing this watch for a month now. It was comfortable to wear straight out of the box and the the leather strap broke in nicely in about a week.It fits my 6 inch wrist on the last (smallest) strap hole.Things to note:A very quiet ticking, not even noticeable unless you bring it up to your ear. Glass crystal, good leather strap. Underside of the watch is beveled so very comfortable with all movements and does not feel bulky at all.2. The crystal (glass) is sitting a bit crooked. it is tilted so that it is not flush evenly along the edge.4 out of 5 stars because for- The dial -- I loved the minimalist look and still do, but having used it, a unique marker for the 12 o'clock position may be helpful.- The crooked crystalOver all, I really like this watch and would recommend this product to a friend.

I've had this watch for two months now and I absolutely love it. With a great clean design that can easily dress up or down, you'd never know it was so cheap.

Great simple watch at a great price. I appreciate a watch with a simple, clean look and no branding.
