Hot Buns Simple Styling Solution- Dark Hair Color- 2 Pack (1 Large, 1 Small)

I was hesitant to purchase this at first but I’m glad I did! It took me a bit to figure out how to work it best- I realized my hair must be too thick and too many layers for the small one and I was able to get it working with the bigger one on the first try! If you’re having trouble with one size, try the other! I found that because of my layers, if I start with the “hot bun” about half way down my ponytail and then wrap my hair around it on my own, tucking in the layers as I go, it works perfectly. I also would mess up the bun every time I would try to use the hair tie attached to the “hot bun.“ I just stopped using that hair tie and started using my own, not attached, hair tie to secure it. I wore it all day while out and about and it didn’t fall apart once! Feels very secure, so happy I purchased it!

I had seen this before and i was really curious so i went and did some research online and found it worked for some people and didnt work for others, but then i decided to give it a try AND IT IS AMAZING I needed something to make a large sock bun fast for competitions that still looked sleek and put together and this product did the perfect job. This product gets a thumbs up from me, but I have hair an inch longer than shoulder length and no layers my hair is also fairly straight/tangle free. I can see how this wouldn't work for someone with curly hair. I ordered the Hot Buns in dark and expected a dark brown and when I opened the package the hot buns were black which was fine with me because my hair is actually black and i was actually really happy to see that they were black. All in all this product worked for me, but i have very plain hair so this product may not work as well for people with thick curly hair.

I guess I've been writing my reviews in the wrong place! This is a great product. I use the smaller one on my 4 year old daughter and she looks simply adorable. We get complimented on her hair all the time. It's such an easy product to use and the price is very inexpensive.At first I wasn't sure how to use it since the only "instructions" that came with it were the pictures on the outside of the box. I didn't catch on too quickly so I looked up videos online. I feel silly.. it's the easiest thing to use! I start off with a ponytail then curl the ends around the "hot bun" as I could any roller. Once it's close to the crown of my head, I snap the two ends together. There's an elastic part that tightens and can be twisted around the bottom of the bun to keep everything together. I've only worn it twice, but it stays on all day no matter how much jumping around I do.

I love this it works for me even it took me a couple of times to practices. I have long hair so what I do once I get out of the shower I put gel in my hair & get it in a pony tail up high since I love it like that it looks stylish I just comb the back of my hair not the top it's just bumpy then put the hot buns on & yes once you take it out it does give you curly hair for me but since I put gel & hair spray & yes when you take it out it does get tangled a little but that doesn't bother me I'm so happy with this I have purchased a couple of them now so worth it for me even when it's a hot day for me since I'm in California

I could never master the sock bun and I hate spending too much time on my long hair so I gave these a go. For the cost they're pretty decent.I have fine hair and so after I put it in the bun sometimes I have to do a little maneuvering to get it to cover the whole piece. My hair is also pretty long so that probably gives me more to work with than people with shorter hair. The snap is a little hidden and hard to find sometimes when you're doing this behind your head.I do have to put my hair in a pony tail before I roll it up in with this. It stays pretty decently even if I don't do that, but because my hair is pretty long I think the weight pulls it down and I just don't like it to feel wobbly. And it's actually easier to roll the hair and get it centered if it's in a pony tail already.People regularly compliment me when I use this and always ask if it's a sock bun. When I tell them how it works they always love the idea because they don't need a ton of bobby pins like a sock bun.

This product took OVER A MONTH to get to me. It came in a package that was torn and taped.. I ordered a the product "Hot Buns" and received a product called "Hair Bun Buddy." As I'm already EXTREMELY disappointed in the presentation, I decide to take it out and give it a shot, see if I can even use it.. For something described as so simple, I find it very difficult to use, as well as that, my hair got tangled in it after just a short time. I'm not an incompetent person, and I'm willing to give anything the benefit of the doubt but there is absolutely no way I would recommend this product to ANYONE.

This is the easiest bun maker. I have long straight hair and love the tight high bun for virtual work on Zooms. Works best with unwashed hair, so perfect for lazy days. I get compliments all the time and takes just 2 minutes in the morning with no Bobby-pins needed. I’ve also used this up-do at formal events like weddings (which admittedly takes longer to perfect the look to make sure my hair is evenly covering the whole hot-bun all the way around with no stray pieces).

just as pictured, just as advertised. new, original, large and small, pictured box, pictorial instructions, sealed in plastic bag inside box. the product seems well made and works for me. the bands of velcro help a lot but takes a bit of practice to get it nice. use some spray or gel or something. the snap closure and elastic work nicely. i used the small. you need a lot of think hair for the large one. has bands of velcro gripper to better hold hair. makes a pretty way to set your hair at night for nice waves in the morning. the instruction show a 2nd person doing up the bun for you but that person was not included in the box.

Super easy to use and held all day. I have shoulder length hair, its not overly thin but its not super thick ,so I was a kind of worried it wouldn’t cover the bun maker. I used the smaller size that was provided and it totally works!! So easy. Make a pony tail , go to the bottom of your hair , roll up and snap! It held all day and looked great! Highly recommend 👍🏻

Se sienten muy ásperas, creo que maltratarán mi cabello y no abarcan mucho, quizá para alguien con poco cabello, a mi no me funcionaron.

This hot bun is absolutely amazing i have used it for about twenty years i can do my hair in less then 10 minutes and stays in perfect i would highly recommend it and you won't be disappointed.

No sirven. El cabello se resbala nunca me pude hacer la cebolla. :( Se tendría que tener el cabello muy muy largo para que pudiera a lo mejor amarrarse yo lo tengo hasta el hombro y no se detiene.
