Works-easy to install
Got this to improve our viewing. I used masking tape to try this out before attaching permanently to our TV. When you've got it where you want it, just peel off the paper gradually - attaching it as you go. Do plan your corners as you can't easily make 90° bends. We don't use the multiple colors/light & music function, but they do work. The lights turn on and off with the TV. There is a several second delay after the TV goes off before the lights switch off. The off switch is handy if the lights are annoying during the day. Once you turn the TV off, the lights will com on again automatically the next time you turn the TV on.I did trim off about 8" from the end that I didn't need. Had to spend some time on the internet to discover that you need to cut through the copper leads (look like 4 dashes on the strip). If you cut anywhere else, you break the circuit and will get a chunk of dead lights.I am going to get another set of these lights to use on my computer monitor. I think it will make it easier on my eyes, especially at night. Can't beat the price.

Ok LEDs.
Controller isn't the best, ended up using a different one I had.

Not bad! Good for the price.
I bought two of these, one for my 40" Samsung tv and one for my desk.I'll start with the tv. I bought the option that was supposed to fit up to a 47" tv, and it was just about perfect. Installation was very easy, I didn't even have to take the tv off the wall. I trimmed off a few inches off the end of the strip and it fit perfectly. The adhesive was not the best, but I just used electrical tape in the spots where the tape was weak. I really like that it turns on when I turn on the tv, and it remembers what color I had it set to when I turned it off. The color is nice, decent brightness. Nothing mind blowing, but for $12, it looks pretty good to me.For the desk, I ran the strip along the back of the desk and trimmed about 3' off the end of the strip. Ironically the adhesive on this one was very strong, so maybe the other one just didn't like the texture of the tv panel. The lights plug into my docking station which is convenient, and they stay on when I shut down my computer. I wasn't going for full on gamer/twitch streamer RGB, just wanted some ambient lighting while I work from home, especially since I don't have any windows in my home office. I think I achieved that.Lastly, the remote works fine. Just make sure you place the reciever in a spot that you can point the remote at it and it will receive the signal. On my tv, it just barely sticks out from the bottom of the tv and I can use the remote from across the room. The app is garbage, I took one look at it and deleted it.Overall, if you're looking to set the mood without dropping mad cash, these will do the job. Again, nothing spectacular, but for the cheap price, they worked better than I expected. I would buy them again.

Great LED strip lights with Bluetooth
I ordered 2 of these lights after reading many positive reviews, and I have not been disappointed. The lights were easy to install under the handrail of my stairs. I cleaned the surface with alcohol and the adhesive foam backing adhered very well. The lights are decently bright, not super bright but great for the purpose. The remote has some preset colors along with pure red/green/blue and white. The white is more of a cool white color. The remote also has some of the mode settings that you can control. Music, fading, etc. can be done from the remote. Some of the preset colors just don't really look correct. Orange has visible green, yellow also. Some of the other colors look fine, though. However, when using the phone app to control the color, you can get them set up much better. Each set of lights has its own Bluetooth device name in the app, so you can change the settings for each strand. The remote will change the setting on both strands at the same time, so if you want to have multiple strands in one area, it's probably best you use the app. Overall, I am very happy with these.

Couple of problems- one fairly severe, one aesthetic- Edited for poor CR response
Edit- someone associated with the vendor left a comment in reply to my review. This person either did not read my review or I suppose it's possible that I did not explain myself clearly- judge for yourself. I replied to clarify the problem with bluetooth is that NO Android device I own will pair. The rep pasted his first reply verbatim. If I could give zero stars I wouldI was looking for a near white color backlight for my TV. I wanted to be able to adjust warmer or cooler to suit the room lighting and TV image. These are not that. The color LEDs are not well balanced and the app does not allow for nearly enough fine tuning. The closest I could come to white was a washed out yellowish hue. The app is not well suited to fine grained control and the iPad/iPhone version does not render correctly making using what the color wheel allows you to do impossible. All this I could live with. The big problem is the app does not do well at all when linking to the BT light string. I tried 3 different Android phones- A Moto 5, a Moto 6 and a Samsung S7. None of them would hold link with the light string. The two Motos would not even connect at all. My iPad Air would connect, but the app was problematic. I got stuck for quite awhile with a sickly green backlight because I could not find a controller to correct it. Granted, this may be due to my RF environment but it was a significant issue.I would rather have had white LEDs with a dial to control intensity. To the good- physical installation was as easy and trouble free as advertised. The strips were a good length for my TV 60" and were easy to apply. The LEDs are sufficiently bright RGB units, and for those who want dynamic lighting effects I have no doubt they will serve well.Unfortunately the link issues render these pretty much useless for me.
