One of the Best Guitar Products I have ever purchased!
I am a guitar hobbyist, playing mostly at home in my home office. I am inspired by good tone, and love to play along with my favorite songs. I've owned several inexpensive tube amps as well as several modeling amps. I don't have a lot of money budgeted for guitar and amp purchases, so I am definitely a bargain hunter. When I saw the product demo's for the Amplifi line, I sold some gear and purchased the 150W Amplifi. I loved it, and can definitely say that it did exactly what it claimed to do. When the TT came out, a friend purchased it and when I tried it, I was immediately in love. Since then, I have purchased one of my own.In case you aren't familiar with the features: The TT plugs into your home stereo, home theater, or your guitar amp. It operates as a bluetooth receiver and you can play any audio from your bluetooth capable phone, computer or tablet easily and seemlessly. It also can act as an audio interface for your computer for recording purposes. While streaming your favorite music, the app on your phone or tablet will suggest a tone to use while playing along. (Keep in mind, it suggests a tone based on what other users have uploaded, it does not create the tone just for the song.) Some of the tones are really great, some are not so great (probably because they were created by a user with a different type of guitar or audio set up.) Pretty much any popular band, and any popular song has a choice of tones that you can use to play along.Along with that, you also have the ability to create your own tones using dozens of amps, dozens of cabs, and quite a few effects. You are able to do deep editing into all of your effects and amps to really tweak and create your sounds. After knowing what it could do, my biggest question was whether or not it does it well.To be totally honest, I could not be happier. I have it plugged into a stereo home theater receiver and two Dayton bookshelf speakers, the receiver has a powered sub woofer that comes with it. I can't believe how great some of the tones that I am getting out of this little set up. I have some presets that I have created that have some wonderful and warm clean tones, and I have other presets for some really high gain distortion that you would swear was from a great Marshall set up.The app software is extremely user friendly. I love the graphic interface, you can just touch screen slide the amount and level of effects or your EQ. The app lets you change the order of your effects chain and pretty much any parameter of any effect that you can think of. If you are using the TT as a preamp for your own amplifier, there is even a way to select "no amp" so that the amp modeling does not color your tone, you can choose just the individual effects to use into your amp. With this unit and the app software, you have enough tools to create pretty much any type of tone that you could possibly want. If you want straight up metal, there are mesa boogie sound-alikes, and tube screamers to boost the output into a saturated rhythm or solo tone. Or if you want the tone from a vintage blues amp with an 8 inch speaker cab, you can do that too. If you want to dial in a U2 tone, there are endless choices for tweaking the delay and reverb to really give you that tone too. But amazingly, if you know the song, or band or equipment that your favorite guitarist uses, you can do a search and there can be anywhere from a few to dozens of tones to choose from. All of these will be created by users like you, and all of them can be edited and stored for your own use.A few things to keep in mind about the Amplifi TT.Because there are 2 different Amplifi amps, and the Amplifi Floor Pedal as well as the TT, keep in mind that effects that a user created to sound like metallica on his 150W Amplifi Amp at bedroom volumes, might need to be tweaked to sound the way you want on your TT. Sharing tones across different Line 6 devices that you might be using at different volumes plugged into different types of systems will mean that not every tone comes out perfect for ever device. I'm guessing that far fewer users are using the TT than the other products, so you may find that some tones need some work. Also, you can control the volume level of your guitar separately from the volume of your music. So, if for instance, you start blasting your favorite song, and your guitar sounds quiet, you can turn the guitar up or the music down separately. (I mention this because I heard someone at guitar center claim that you can not do this and that's why he would not buy it.) You simply press in the volume dial to adjust the separate volumes on the device or you can use the app software and choose "levels" to dial in the volume.I have also heard people say (in reviews and in the store) that you can only play music that was purchased through itunes through this device. This is also false. You can play any sound that comes out of your electronic device through this unit. The Amplifi software will only suggest tones for songs that are stored on your device. (If you are playing along with youtube, or streaming from pandora, it will not suggest a tone unless you type in a tone search with the band name or song name.) If you are using Apple Music, any song that is stored on your device will be given a suggestion. (I am not quite as sure how the android platform works with the app.)To illustrate how much I like this product:A friend taught me the lead riff from one of my favorite Black Keys songs just noodling around on an unplugged guitar. When we got into my office, I picked up my guitar, I selected the song on my Apple Music, it was playing on through my speakers, by the time the riff played in the song the second time, I was playing along with a very decent approximation of the same tone and was fine tuning my technique right away. This product is made very well for anyone who would like to play around with their favorite music with a tone that complements the song.I would recommend this product to anyone who wants great tone at a great price to play along with their favorite music. I would add though that if you are not familiar with using iphone or tablet apps, there might be a learning curve to use the app. But if you are a techie who like to tweak, or someone who just wants to jam along with your favorite songs with a decent tone, this is a great product, easily well worth the price.

Fun Device - Especially when Paired with a Shortboard
For playing guitar in you living room with minimal equipment, this is a great little tool. I like a wide variety of music, but don't have the space or money to get a bunch of different amps and pedals to replicate the sounds I am after. Of course this box is not going to exactly copy that amp you want that costs thousands of dollars, but it gets close enough to have fun with it. I also do most of my playing after I get the kids to sleep, and it is nice to be able to get the sound of a fully cranked amp through my headphones.Line 6 knows how to make hardware pretty well, but they seem pretty new to the mobile app game. While the app eventually lets you do what you want, there are a lot of painful little bits. Like, you cannot just walk into your room have it automatically pair and start using it. I have to force quit the app, disconnect and reconnect the bluetooth, and then restart the app ... every single time. I was excited about the Apple Watch integration for tuning, but you have something like 3 seconds before the watch goes blank. I don't know about you, but I can't tune that fast. Speaking of tuning, even when you use the phone's tuner there is about a second delay between when you play the note and it registers on the tuner, which makes precise tuning really painful.HOWEVER, almost all of the pain points I have mentioned went away when I got the FBV mkii shortboard. In my opinion, it is not really an optional piece of equipment if you get the AMPLIFi TT. In lets you just use the app for setup, you then turn off bluetooth, and all your controls, tuning, etc happen on the shortboard.

Amazing for the Guitar Hobbyist
Let me first say that I've owned other Line 6 products, and I commend the company for its efforts in technology and creativity. The AMPLIFi TT is no exception to that legacy. What Line 6 has done with this product is create a very compact amp modeling/effects head, and packed it into a very compact "play anywhere" device. You can keep it on your desk, nightstand, or end table, plug your headphones and guitar into it anywhere in your house or office for personal jam sessions or practice without bothering anybody. Or you can plug your studio monitors, computer, and pedal board into it and create a full on studio, all centered around this little box. Do keep in mind that the TT comes with no speakers of any kind - it is basically only a head - but for a couple hundred dollars more, you can buy some very nice studio monitors or an amplifier speaker to plug it into. Or you can just use headphones. There is an iPhone and Android app that syncs via bluetooth with the TT. It has 100 preset models/effects by default, each of which can be edited and saved via the app on your phone or directly on the face of the TT. You can also search the cloud for other sounds that you can download for free and use in your own "My Tones" library. The AMPLIFi TT is compatible with the FBV Shortboard MkII foot controller and the FBV Express MkII foot controllers. The only downside to this is that there is not very good documentation for exactly how to edit and save tones with your footboard onto the AMPLIFi TT. The manual for my Shortboard MkII doesn't call out the TT specifically, so I'm having to infer certain processes from instructions on how to use the Shortboard with the POD or other Line 6 products. That's a minor annoyance, but I'm sure I'll figure it out.All in all, I love this product. It, and the JBL monitors I bought to accompany it, have all but replaced my extremely bulky Flextone II Plus as my primary guitar amplifier. Would highly recommend this to any guitar hobbyist who doesn't need bulky amplifiers for home use.

High price but decent quality
Works lovely and the quality is neat (although not as good as I expected for that price). The remote app on my Android doesn't work with the unit, though my iPod does, so I assume that it is simply my phone that is at fault. Other than that, everything works well. I do hope they make use of the USB function though. But if you are not using the remote app with the TT unit, you are fairly restricted so if you want something you can work with offline, it is better to get another.

Excellent product for a recreational player
I don't know what some people don't like about this unit. It is an excellent machine for an individual amateur who wants to explore many sounds and jam with backing tracks. The online app is so much fun and easy to use. I'm having a ball with this machine and it's excellent for someone who enjoys playing solo just for recreation.
