Most floating aquatic plants for ponds are considered invasive in our state and are unavailable. I tried these artificial lily pads and they work great. They look nice and I tethered them with fishing line so they stay in one area. I have had no trouble with paint coming off. They are bright green, but i have many different shades of green planted around the pond and they blend right in. I have not seen frogs on any, but hope to. I used another customer's idea and stapled a couple or three together. I like the result. I would buy again.

I've been using this to provide shade for my patio pond while my real plants grow in, and while I didn't expect them to be super realistic, they are a really vibrant green. That said, they provide the shade I needed and the fish are happy and the live plants are filling in nicely.

I bought these to keep strong sun off my small outdoor fish tank. I had live plants and they kept dying and making a mess of the tank. These protect the fish when sun is directly overhead and they provide some cover from predators, too. They are pretty good looking artificial water plants. It is obvious they are artificial but they are bright and colorful and provide the protection I was seeking for the outdoor fish.

We purchased these pads to provide cover and protection from predators in our koi pond. They are doing well for both. We didn't put on any additional weight and, so far, they haven't blown away during autumn or winter storms. They do move around the pond, but that isn't a problem. It looks much more natural than I would have imagined. Definitely a good purchase for us. We ordered a second set because we liked them so much.

I liked the look of these little lily pad leaves, but unfortunately because they free float on the pond, they constantly gravitate into the skimmer. I will have to return these. But on the other hand the little lily flowers/pads are great because they can be secured to stay relatively in one place in the pond so look natural and pretty!

this is the only thing I've tried that has come close to helping prevent thirsty bees from drowning in my pool. Bees land on the water for a drink not knowing they wont be able to get out. The poor little bees have enough working against them. Any possible help I can give them I will

Not really a good choice for a pond

Beautiful, high quality and very realistic looking. I also purchased one of the flower bundles and glued them together into sets, then wired them into place (to keep them out of the skimmer). My koi love them and spend more time swimming around now that they have shade and a feeling of safety. Highly recommend!
