Awesome Little Bass amp Box for small venues, family living room, practice
Everyone is amazed at this little box, how much music it produces and how easy it is! for small family gatherings, like Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas we pull this down to the living room and can plug things in (like bass guitar) and sing and play. Lightweight, very inexpensive and runs forever off batteries.

Great to move from room to room
Bought this for my husband. This is great for practice. His larger amps are in the basement but he doesn’t always want to go downstairs if he’s practicing alone. Plug your earphones into it and you can sit in the living room and not disturb everyone else in the room but still be near everybody.. The sound is great and you can move from room to room easier than a full size amp.

2 years later, still works like a champ!
I don't often write reviews, but I felt it was needed for this little portable bass amp that I love so much! It has been 2 years since I bought this, and everything still works 100%. I rarely use the adaptor as the battery life with the 6aa batteries is awesome; I literally get 3-4 months of regular playing out of one set of batteries! I've played small acoustic gigs with this, practice wearing headphones, and jam along with my smartphone, and it has been great! Not to mention it is incredibly light weight and easy to carry using a guitar strap. I have played this cool little amp alot and it has held up perfectly with no problems. If you turn it up too loud, the speaker will distort, which is to be expected. But it is just loud enough to play nicely with an acoustic guitar and singer. My speaker still sounds great after 2 years. Be realistic about the sound; it's not going to rival my small 25w Fender Rumble, but it sounds good to me! Fingerstyle, picking, slap and pop all sound nice!If this somehow died tomorrow (which I highly doubt) I would 100% buy another one. This little amp has been one of the best music gear purchases Ive made in a long time. I also recently bought their pocket bass amp for use with headphones and it's also fantastic! I think Joyo makes awesome reliable gear at a great price! Just have realistic expectations for what you pay.I will gladly support Joyo and recommend their gear to others!!

Might be OK for some, not for me though
I bought this specifically to have a small battery powered amp to add just a little volume to my acoustic bass when jamming with my acoustic guitar friends on the porch or around a campfire. It will do that but it just doesn’t sound very good. I wouldn’t be surprised if the acoustic, electric and bass models are the same inside with just different colors since they have the same controls, and the tone control on the bass model has no effect when you're actually using a bass. When I plugged in my acoustic guitar though it definitely made a difference so that tells me the “bass” unit isn’t really optimized for bass instruments. For comparison I had previously tried a Blackstar Fly 3 with its add on speaker, it sounded a little better at whisper levels but could do nowhere near the volume of the Joyo. So the Joyo outdoes the Blackstar volume wise at a much lower price but doesn’t sound as good. For what it is though, especially considering the price point, I’ll give it a 3 but will be returning it. If it had actual bass and treble controls optimized for bass guitar, I’d have given it a 4 and kept it, and would have gladly paid a little more.

Just what I had wanted! (Nice little amp.)
The JOYO Bass amp (MA-10B) was just what I had wanted. Long story short, my son has been using the den a lot these days so I don't have access to my main gear. I had to move bass playing to the bedroom using just a practice headphone amp. Our cat loves to sleep next to me on the bed while I am playing. The only reason that I got this amp was so that he can finally hear what I am playing. You know, so I am not leaving him out.Its a great little amp with all the main features. It sounds great and it was smart that you can either use batteries OR plug it into the wall. (There is another brand of a small amp that costs more in which ONLY uses batteries. Why not have the option?) If there was one thing, and this is no big deal, and that would be to have the power switch on the top panel along with the other controls instead being on the back. But again, no biggie on this.I highly recommend this amp for someone in a similar situation.Thank you!

Perfect bass practice amp for not bothering others.
This is a perfect practice amp for when you want to practice bass at home without bothering anyone working, sleeping, etc. in the next room over, but still hear yourself clearly. Very happy with this product. You could use it for a quiet jam session, but really it's a wonderful little practice amp.

Budget Amp
The media could not be loaded. This amplifier is a good choice if you’re looking for something affordable to practice at home. It’s compact and gives you two power options: you can run it on batteries or plug it into an outlet, which makes it flexible and convenient. The sound is decent at lower volumes, but it doesn’t hold up well when pushed too high. It’s not powerful enough for street performances or big spaces, but for quiet practice sessions at home, it does the job well. A solid pick for beginners or casual players who need a simple amp with portable power. I used it for my acoustic guitar too and it worked well.
