Superior Threads Holder for Cones and Spools

My sewing machine only has the option of the thread laying on its side. Because of this, when using larger spools, the thread gets twisty and tends to snap back when I cut it after sewing a pass. So I was using a chopstick in a glass contraption, and after the umpteenth time of it falling over and just being in the way, I looked for a better solution. This thread Holder is such a great help. it stops the thread from twisting, and has the added peg option to have a small spool lay on its side. It's quite sturdy too. Great Gadget!

This is my second Superior thread holder. Now I have one for each of my primary sewing machines. I use metallic threads and cones of thread regularly this holder works perfectly to facility smooth thread flow each and every time. Superior is high quality in thread, needles, holder and every one of their products.

I had a real crappy, black plastic thread holder that was horrendous. I happened to find this by searching amazon. I LOVE this thing!!! A few different configurations make it versatile along with the thread sizes you can use. The weight is nice and unless you are jerking/bumping the table, it won’t fall over. It is a very thick plastic. Does not feel fragile or cheap.

If you have ever used one of those light weight plastic cone holders you would know why I love this. Holder is steady, stable and can move around with you. For me, it was well worth the cost.

I sew a lot with all different sizes of thread spools and cones. It's so nice to have a holder that will adapt to all of them easily!

I got a new sewing machine that doesn’t hold big thread cones! And I have a lot of cones because they worked on my other machine. When I got this holder, the instructions on the back of the packaging looked so complicated! So it took me a while to set it up. Oh my gosh! I set it up today and it was SO EASY! Now I did break off the little sideways thread holder because I only wanted this for cone thread. I couldn’t see a way to get that sideways pin out of the way. Whatever. It’s fine. All you do is flip up the arm, and thread your thread through 2 holes. Then pull the thread over to your machine. That was it! I love it! It works perfectly!

I like how you can use different types of spools on the holder. It works wonderfully for some spools that were giving me a lot of problems. Thanks!
