It took me forever to select a replacement for my Victony Wireless Repeater (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MR3EK29/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) because the reviews are so inconsistent for every repeater device that I looked at. Each one is either the best thing since sliced bread or a total POS. So frustrating. Finally I just threw up my hands and went with this E300 (mostly cuz most of the reviewers mentioned quick easy WPS installation and tech support). Truth be told, my Victony was working ok, but it sure did seem to lose connection a lot (intermittently - and for short durations). So, I thought I'd take a chance with a new one to see if it was faster and/or more reliable. All I can say right now (moments after installing it) is the following:1. Installation WAS unbelievably easy. Turn it on, plug it in, press the WPS button on the unit and hold for 6 secs (green lights on E300 will blink), press the WPS button on router and hold for a second or 2 and release, blinking green lights on E300 will go from blinking to all solid green, go to any PC/mobile device, select "E300_Ext" as your wifi source, and put enter the same network password as you use for your router. Voila. 10 seconds at the most and I was successfully hooked up.2. First thing I did was compare "upload" and "download" speeds. I plugged the E300 into the exact same place as I previously had my Victony and went to the same laptop in the same back bedroom (in an old house with plaster walls) that I always work. Speeds comparison were as follows:Router (no repeater): DL speeds range from 13.7 - 22.6 mbps UL speeds range from 6.5 - 8.3 mbpsVictony: DL speeds ranged from 15.3 - 21.7 mbps UL speeds ranged from 5.6 - 7.5 mbpsE300: DL speeds range from 23.7 - 37.8 mbps UL speeds range from 9.5 - 15.7 mbpsSo...at least for now...the E300 "wins" hands down in terms of speed.Of course, I cannot yet speak to its reliability yet, but I will update this Review with that information in next few weeks.

I ordered this item to see if it would improve my wifi reception in the upstairs part of my home. When we used our iPads we seem to always have poor reception. So far this is working nicely. I followed the instructions in the package which took less than a minute and I was up and running. I relocated the wifi range extender to the area I was having trouble and so far so good. I am actually writing this review from the poor reception area and it is doing good. I intend on buying more for other areas of the home.

Several methods were given to connect this to an existing router. The only one I could get to work was the WPS button method which worked the first time. The other methods require a browser connection that either did not connect or password was invalid. Instructions in the box are completely different than instructions found at Cordey website.We have a Sensi wifi thermostat located in a wifi dead spot so I installed the repeater so it could connect. I never could get them to work together. Sensi said it was the repeater, and Coredy said it was the thermostat. To resolve I moved the thermostat to a location with existing wifi.

I have an ATT router located in the family room at the back of the house. TVs on Fire Sticks in two bedrooms in the front of the house did not have a strong WIFI connection. That resulted in a lot of buffering of programs and movies. I also have a security camera above the garage door at the front of the house that had a poor connection and slow responses. I plugged this device into a hall outlet near the front of the house. It has greatly improved the WIFI to all the devices that previously had poor WIFI connections. The device performs much better than my expectations.

It was very to easy to install however when the WiFi is being used at a high signal on something else such as XBox1 it didn’t give me that extra strength I was hoping for. I did call tech support but got no response. But I was told that I probably need to increase my WiFi connection through my provider. Then what I buy this for?. But as long as the Xbox is not being played the signal for the back room with the extender works good.

I purchased this to extend my WIFI to pool patio outside. I installed a ROKU TV on my deck and discovered that my outdoor WIFI signal was very weak. This range extender solved my problem. Extremely easy to setup. It greatly improved my outdoor WIFI reception. My FIOS router is on the second floor of my house in my office facing the street. This did exactly as was stated in the product description. I highly recommend this extender.

The product will do the job it was designed to do. The biggest problem is that support doesn't understand how the unit works and the installation instructions are sketchy. I emailed a question to support regarding waypoints and I am still waiting for an answer.The product does work but you have to spend a little time to work through the documentation.
