NOT YOUR DADDY’S STOMP BOX!!!
I’ve wanted an iRig for a very long time but just never had an excuse to get one. I finally just went ahead and got it. Nice product and a decent price point. Caveat, I bought the one that is labels digital. This model won’t work with a trrs plug, that I know of , but has plenty of connection opportunities just like it is. If you are wanting an analog solution, get that version. Bundled software is pretty good, there are a plethora and probably better software out there. Sound quality is excellent as well overall construction feel of the box! Overall? Seems to do the trick!

Most updated one
I searched for many months before i did my purchase. This being USB C made a lot of difference. Definitely perfect product that i can do my practices at home without disturbing my neighbors.

The HD Model didn't work for me, this one did.
Very simple to operate, and works like a charm. I originally ordered the HD model. It worked for about a minute. After multiple attempts to resolve the issue, I sent it back.

Surprisingly good
I use this gadget to record on my iPhone video with analog audiosound coming from my DJ mixer. This is really comparable to the leading brands that cost hundred or more. This one works just as good for under $20 be sure to purchase all the cables that you need I use a quarter inch jack that connects to stereo RCA's output from my mixer and my phone records Direct in-line sound while recording video in high-quality. I must say though that a few times it sounded like it was shorting out I would have to move the box A certain way for the sound to come back on I don't know if these were because of bad cables or because of a bad unit. But it does work and sound fantastic when I can get it to be stable. i'm giving it four stars out of five until this kink is worked out

Despite advertising, DOES NOT WORK with iPad Pro and IK does not respond to support tickets.
Advertised as an adapter to be used with an iPad or iPhone. On an iPad Pro with a USB-C audio connector to the iRig2, the sound is extremely distorted with a strong warble and an echo. No settings change this. I have reached out to IK Multimedia for support but after five days and multiple attempts to contact them, there is absolutely no response from their support team.I would rate this zero stars if that were possible. Do not buy this if you want to use it with an iPad - It just DOES NOT WORK.

Works great, even if a bit dated in 2024
I bought this to start using virtual effects and amp models in my iPhone, mostly with live performance in mind. The iPhone I'm using for this is an older one, an iPhone 6, and that's one reason I chose the iRig2, since it takes advantage of the 6's 3.5mm headphone jack, leaving the lightning port free for other uses. Also, I love the simplicity of this analog unit, and the price is great.I primarily use Tonestack for my virtual effects, and it pops up a warning with the IRig2 about higher risk of feedback with headphone jack interfaces. Because of this, Tonestack automatically turns on feedback protection for this device, and I've had no issues at all. I'm mostly plugging into this with a simple and inexpensive soundhole pickup mounted in my acoustic guitar. I initially worried about latency, but it hasn't been an issue for me - seems fine for my purposes. Sound quality has been great.I really love this little device. It let me repurpose an old iPhone 6 that was just sitting unused in a drawer, and now I have a very economical virtual guitar setup that's working great for my needs.

Alright product.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Its an alright product. It gets the job done if you are lookong for a device that can help play live insturments. Only realg issue that it breaks too often. Often time it will just stop playing audio. It has lasted me about 6 months with both devices i have purchased in the past.
