Cable Matters 10Gbps USB C Dock (USB C Docking Station) with Dual 4K HDMI and 80W Laptop Charging for Windows Computers - USB-C & Thunderbolt 3 Port Compatible

I had been looking for a dock that I could connect my HP Windows 10 laptop to via the USB c charging port as well as providing the possibility of connecting 1 4k external display at 60hz and I finally found one! I have been using this dock for about a month now and it has been excellent so far, I have the external display, speakers, keyboard, mouse and external blu ray drive all connected into it and if I need to go mobile its simply a case of unplugging the usb c dock lead from the laptop now. Please note that this dock only supports 1 4k display at 60hz if that is not clear elsewhere though I think it allows 2 at 30hz. I am also having no issues with charging the laptop through the USB C port - great product so far am glad I bought it!

This is a great hub for anyone who needs all the extra connections but doesn’t need the speeds of thunderbolt (same connector but different specs). Came quickly and nicely packaged and was very easy to set up. All your peripherals are connected through this and all you need to do is connect one cable to your desk/laptop. Perfect for the 12” MacBook or any windows machine with USB C - remember that USB C and thunderbolt both have the same connector but are different beasts so make sure you choose the right one. I ultimately returned it, but only because I have a thunderbolt machine and wanted to future proof even though I don’t have any thunderbolt accessories yet. I would recommend this very highly for anyone who has a USB C machine and needs to connect hard drives, memory cards, monitors etc. Like the title says: Perfect USB C hub.

Needed a usb-c dock with a high capacity PD option to work with a new Dell Latitude laptop and this was provided with a 80W PSU. Can happily say this solved our problems and work really well. I would not go back to any other form of dock as having a usb-c dock means you just plug one cable into your laptop at the desk and away you go with multiple screens, network, etc and it works with laptops which most of the usb-c docks do not provide sufficient power. Bye bye to annoying warnings about not charging properly as the power supply cannot supply enough wattage for the laptop. Highly recommended!

Got this product to allow dual HDMI - initial impressions were good although it was a little glitchy in terms of display 1 sometimes disconnecting then reconnecting. Then, one day, turned on laptop and dual displays were not working. I had had no Windows updates and all the drivers were the same as they were the previous day. Connected my old startech dock (HDMI and DVI) and presto - dual displays working on that which leads me to believe it was the cable matters dock giving up on dual display so immediately packaged it up and arranged return. startech dock now back in place (although it's probably taken a little offence that I tried to replace it with a shinier version that turned out to be nowhere near as good despite the price)

Stylish item for sureBut it did not work correctly in my case, I could hear intermittent noise when plugging the headphones and my 4K 60Hz screen was blinking from time to time, it was sometimes off for like a second before going back onThere were the 2 main problems which made me return the item.I also had 2 minor complaints: the fitting between the leg and the actual device seemed a bit loose and the fitting between the power adapter and the actual cable to the socket was quite loose and so the whole thing was easy to be unplugged if the power adapter was moved around.

Bought this solution as read the spec and assumed it would do what it said on the spec. To my amazement it done that and more. Its slim, sleek, modern, packed with loads of ports and features. Easy to setup, loaded with ports and functionality! Works on both my Dell and HP laptops and charges which is amazing.Best device I've used for the cost!

I run 2 x 4k screens off a tablet using this hub. It's brilliant. Wish I had have bought one years ago.
