Pig Tail Food Flipper Box Set

I wish that these tools were better known! Over the past three years, I have slowly moved away from using tongs on the grill in favor of these pig tail flippers. These things are simple! Turn clock-wise to hook the meat, turn counter clock-wise to remove the hook.The durability is amazing, and I often will throw my meal onto the grill and leave the tip of the pig tail over the flame to help disinfect the tool. This way you don't have to take it in and wash it through the cooking process.This is amazing for cooking chicken breasts, legs and thighs. Same goes for steak, pork loins and anything that holds together well enough to be held up by a single pressure point. Of course, this will not work well for flipping hamburgers and hotdog / sausage casings will be punctured.... but I have used this for brats before!Popularity with this design has even caught the eye of Weber, who has mimicked this tool. Instead of the curly (pig) tail, they use right angles to make the loop. I find the Weber design to be more clunky and a cheap knock-off.If you love to grill and want impress your friends with a gift / tool they don't have, this is what you need! Clean-up is one of the best Pros to this tool since it is a single metal rod bent into a hook. You will not be disappointed!

Not sure my husband can grill a piece of meat without these. No stabbing meat with a knife to loose juicy liquid and makes turning meat so easy. This is our second set as we had to have one in our winter home as well.

I bought this as a gift to my boyfriend who loves to grill and smoke. He has enjoyed using them. He is very impressed with the quality and was glad to use the bigger of the two when he smoked a large brisket. I like the box for storing the darn things. They are easy to clean and with the box easy to store. They don't take up utensil space in the drawer. I purchased another one for my son as a holiday gift.

I was originally given a "Pig Tail" as a gift last year. We grill often. I was skeptical as to what it even did, not to mention how well it performed. I was amazed at how quickly and precisely it flips/moves the steaks, chicken, - any piece of meat we can think of! And it's long enough to keep the heat off of the hand. When friends come over, they want to try it, just to see if it is as fascinating as it looks. Big smiles every time! Unless I'm cooking hamburgers, every other utensil stays in the kitchen. We use the big Pig Tail inside to flip the largest roasts. I bought each of my business associates Pigtail Flippers for Christmas. They'd seen mine in action and were "home-runs" with everyone.

This is one of those things that’s completely unnecessary but fun to use for me. I have a large grill so being able to reach pretty far across the pit to flip chicken or steaks is great for me. It can’t replace a good pair of tongs as there are some things it can’t be used with, but they are fun to use and are pretty well made.

Bought this for a friend who loves to grill and I could not be happier with it. Looks a lot nicer than expected! Will buy again for my other friends who are grillers.

I was at a BBQ in Afghanistan and one of the fellas broke this out. I was intrigued and asked him what it was. His wife had seen it and sent it to him. I watched him flip some steaks and was blown away. He handed it to me and I sat in front of the grill for the next hour flipping chicken, steaks, hot dogs... But I didn't mind one bit. The pig tail made the job a breeze. My wife got me this set and I've been using it ever since I got home. Awesome tool, easy to use and easy to clean. Totally recommend!
