(Overly long CPU name) Review
This CPU works perfectly for my rig. I came from a dual core CPU that I managed to burn a core out on, and I am a huge gamer, so this processor was a huge improvement. This processor handles every game well, and there is little to no lag with the games I play. It works great with my EVGA GeForce GTX 760 SC graphics card. I love this processor and it was worth every penny. The heatsink that comes with it is a bit small for what I use, so I swapped it out with the Corsair heatsink that I had on my other CPU and that seems like it has done wonders for my computer's temperature. Overall, this is a fantastic processor for any mid-range gaming PC.

Fast MidRange CPU
needed a processor for a quick and dirty bulid for the wife, couldn't complain to get this for under 70 bucks on sale.havnet used the onboard video, had a spare card laying around, figure even though its not a half bad GPU and I got decently fast system memory I wouldn't want it using it up. Installed no problem booted no problem but I do fancy my self not an idiot too. saw reports of them running hot, I stress tested it for 2 weeks while I was waiting for more parts to come in and on a stock cooler it never broke 50C but at the same time it was all synthetic tests out side of a case with the stock cooler. now its in a tiny case with a sealed water cooler I had laying around and seems to be doing ok still. no real load has been put on it sincethe system setup arrived at:AMD A8-6600KMSI A78M-E45Sapphire VaporX 5770Crucial M500 240GB8Gb G.Skill sniper 2133 (2x4gb)OCZ StealXStream 600WBitFenix Prodigy MCorsair H50 CPU cooler w/ Push Pull dual 120mm Silverstone Golfball fanssome parts were spares laying around (H50, 5770, 600W PSU) so they helped edge the cost. its just for the wife and her college classes, needed something with a super fast boot and load time incase there was a super late home work assignment or other project emergency. press power button BAM its on and there. Its probably overkill, would probably play games at a decent rate but its all for fast boot and load times. she does boring things like that

Great value and performance! The internal Radeon graphics are way better than I had hoped.
I may never stress this cpu's potential. However, I've had a chance now to give it a good workout, and I have to say a new build has never been so smooth. With the internal Radeon graphics processing built in, the ROI has been exceptional. I didn't build a gaming machine, or an "office" machine. This CPU gives me performance characteristics that are squarely in the middle of those requirements. That's the sweet spot as far as I'm concerned, and the price to get there was VERY affordable. I'm using a MSI A8 board.

ITEM WAS BROKEN, THE BOX WAS BROKEN BEFORE WAS PACKED AND SEALED
I really angry because this processor was opened , the seal of the box was broken. It was put into the box opened and was damaged.I can not return the item because i am from Venezuela, and the cost is too expensive to me send it back. I am really disapoint.I can not make my new computer because someone opened my processor and damage it. Later they put into the big packing and sealed it.I think never buy this kind of item from the seller again.

Best option when it comes to price and usefulness
I have 6 m onths with this processor and even though its for the house computer which only my dad uses like 4 times a week for a few hours, there are times where he puts together bluprints and runs heavy programs and graphicws like autocad and stuff like that and he says no lagging and is really fast. I think is the BEST bang for your buck AND the best option if you dont have the cash for a video card which we didnt. When gaming, on HIGH graphics (tomb raider survivor) it did freeze but im pretty sure its a ram problem not the APU. before purchasing the ram make sure you go to the AMD web page and check the specific model and serial number for the rams compatible with this. Because thats one thing i didnt do. Mine is not incompatible but the serial number of the model i purchased doesnt match the list they have so im almost 99% sure thats the cause of the ocasional freeze on my system when i multitask.

I built my case primarily to use as an HTPC. This has been holding up very well for last 18 months with high definition video. My only complaint is the temperature does get really hot (it's both a CPU & GPU, hence APU) as 60 degrees Celcius on idle mode. I'm looking forward to adding a dedicated graphics card to reduce temps.

W.E.I. Score: CPU 7.3, GPU 6.9
Great Chip for a general Home/Office computer.Windows Experience Index scored the CPU at 7.3, and GPU at 6.9 in both 2D & 3D.Set up tips;1. Use dual channel ram (2 sticks). We used 1866Mhz ram, most motherboards will recognize it as 1600 by default, you must choose another (XMP) profile for it in Bios, nothing to type in manually.2. To save power and run cooler, we enabled Cool-n-Quiet, which is similar to Intel's Speed-Step, and we also disabled the Turbo function, there was no hit to performance, but a real savings in wattage.3. From within Windows we manually "unparked" all cores and noticed a performance gain (check using Resource Monitor). After a little set up we are very happy, it runs fast and very cool (35.C. idle).PS Only use AMD or Motherboard apps to check CPU temps, aftermarket ones not accurate.

It works...
No issues, but I was expecting more kick, I see almost no difference between this and my old Phenom X4 @ 3.2I bought a higher-end board to match and used the same ram, ssd, gfx as my previous build, just not seeing huge performance increase. Not using the integrated video, sticking with my older, yet beefier & faster nvidia card.Stock heatsink is fail, so go find a nice one to add to your order.
