the best NLP material i have ever come across
this book, besides the valuable information it gives, is transmitting the passion and generosity of its writers on every page. As additional proof, if need be, the links to exercises and videos make it a unique and not to be overlooked experience by those who want to improve themselves and/or the lives of the people around them. Couldn’t recommend it more strongly!

Go 4 IT!
All praises written by other reviewers - agreed. I have just begun my master-practitioner studies, taking it in TWO parallel courses (some redundancy makes studies easier for me, and not all of it is redundant, the courses are not identical). In other words, I am REALLY into it (also made myself a website, called elinlp [com]). So I am also buying some books, in fact, some 15 of them so far, kindle and hard copies - by founding fathers (B&G), disciples, and others, gradually sharpening my perception of what is better for me.This book is great in many ways, as testified by the other reviewers, of which I wish to repeat one that is very important for me.Being quite an experienced kindle reader, I know by now that the adaptation of texts to computer technology is sometimes bad, sometimes quite good, sometimes great. This one is as excellent as I can imagine. Plenty, really plenty, of cross links, live and active, inside the text. And the access to the NLP comprehensive website, with many many resources, both in texts and great videos (Tom Best is so much fun to experience), is for me nothing less than a treasure.I never expected to get the golden key to this treasure box when I clicked on "buy with one click". Never had a comparable experience with other books or NLP centers before.Bottom line, somewhat surprisingly, you get MUCH more than you pay for: A great, informative, easy to read text, plus plenty of extras.Did I make my point? Hope so, for my review is also a gesture of gratitude to the authors.

This book touched me more than any book in a very long time
I read and listen to several hundred books a year. No other book has touched me so deeply, at an emotional level, like this one in, probably a decade - if not more. I started learning NLP as a teenager, and even wrote an in depth report on it during high-school, and I believe it changed the trajectory of my life then. I got busy with life, and everything was going extremely well, so I forgot about it. Then a real, mega-crisis hit, not of my doing, but it essentially crushed everything I had worked for an achieved up until that point. It's been a couple of years since then, and I've been working with myself and getting my life back on track, but I desperately needed to get a better grip on my thinking, feelings and behavior - and returned to NLP. This book is amazing. I highly recommend the audio-version.I've never really liked the idea of getting a coach, but when I listened to this book, I decided that when I was done with my current project I'd reach out to Tom Hoobyar - as judging from the places he describes in the book, we live in the very same area. Then I learn he died even before finishing the book.If you want to get an extremely loving, compassionate, warm, and experienced, real-life guide towards NLP - heck, life-overall,dealing with ourselves and others in all our imperfections, this is an absolute MUST to read.I am deeply grateful for Tom Hoobyar for sharing his thoughts, and deeply grateful for everyone who made this book published after he passed away. The fact that the chance to contact him no longer exist, was a re-frameing experience for me.Thank you Tom Hoobyar for your wonderful gift to the world.Get the book. Now.

Comprehensive Introduction to NLP in Laymen's Language
This is a very useful book for anyone who is interested in a comprehensive introduction to NLP.The authors explain basic concepts using language that is easy to understand (without getting bogged down by the plethora of technical jargons that NLP is known for). They start with basics regarding how NLP is useful in improving oneself, then goes on to explain techniques for improving communication, and finally applying these techniques to mediation and negotiation. In the many exercises, practical step-by-step guidance is provided, so that the reader can get a feel for various techniques, even without a coach. In all, a very good read for any reader who is drawn to the subject. Among the books that I have read about introducing NLP to readers in general, I think this is the most well written.

Superb book on NLP - easy to understand but still profound
The book offers the best of the teaching of people who train NLP for decades and who were learning from one of the best NLP teachers out there, Steve Andreas. It takes time and lots of effort to understand NLP and learn it well. There are many manuals and books but hardly any organised in a manner that is so easy to understand. What I love about this book is the authors' humour and tons of exercises - almost on every third page you will find one based on which you can grasp the concept really well.If you are starting with NLP or if you struggle to understand and deploy what you have learned in the NLP Practitioners or even Master Practitioners courses, this is a super easy to read handbook that will shed light on anything you missed or were not clear about. And if you are a seasoned NLP professional like me, who uses and teaches the concepts for years, you will find it a refreshing overview full of inspiration and great practical tips.Very much recommend.

A game changer
This book is a game changer for me. It is so well-written, easy to read, and—what's even more important—it's pleasant to read. It is written in a way that makes it so obvious (to the point that you start wondering why you haven't figured it out yourself) that life is awesome, but we put all this energy into making ourselves miserable. Why not put the same energy into making our lives wonderful? I'm reading the second half now and have attached dozens of plastic reference stickers. The first time I read it was only to mark the important parts (I also highlight a lot). I'm going to leave it for a week or two after I finish and then work on making the things that are written there my lifestyle. But don't be fooled. It's not enough to just read it. You need to commit yourself to practicing each and every day. These things are like a shower—it doesn't last and needs to be repeated daily. For me, this is the next step. I am eternally fascinated with the human mind and how engaging in our own thoughts makes us miserable. Highly recommend.

Brilliant book. 👏 Clear and engaging!
Brilliant. An old acquaintance borrowed my last book on NLP and never returned it. Picked up this gem to replace it and I love it, it is clear and engaging language -- I hit a standstill in my schoolwork, I "can't get anything done on time", and find it impossible to sit down to work. This book has the solution and more. A+

Impressive guide with heaps of tips and info
I've only read about 1/4th of it but I'm quite impressed with all the solid exercises and info. This is likely one of the best books out there on NLP.

An excellent book to start with NLP
Although aimed at beginners, this book would be an ideal read for anyone willing to dig deep and learn the basics of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. It's a fantastic book, and the author breaks things down logically, making it easy to read, follow, and build upon. This book covers NLP from the core principles to its application in everyday life.Available at just Rs. 79 (Kindle Edition). Don't miss this opportunity!
