We use Formula V religiously on our racing slicks. We don't run a professional schedule now so our down times between events, generally about 4 weeks. With that much down time, a healthy dose of brings the scrub tires right back to life. Best if you begin the process at least 2 days before track use.

Works but it is expensive, use it on my over 6 year old DR's. Got a 1.681 60' with my C7 Base A8 complety stock.

I used this formula 20 years racing dirt track, its not a softener, but a conditioner, I use now to get extra life out of Motorhome, and Trailer Tires. I apply 2 times a year, its like hand creme for your tires.

Works as advertised

I wasn't sure which product I wanted when I first starting looking for a tire treatment so I chose on based on their online directions. This product is as easy to use as described. It softened up a real hard set of tires and the raced really well. I retreated them between races to help preserve tire life and it seems to really help. I would recommend this product to any racer etc. that's need to extend tire life between heat cycles and soften them up to race on at the same time.

Bought this for a different reason than most. Put it on size 39.5 tires on my Jeep Rock Crawler. Sprayed on, let dry & repeated until used the whole jug on 4 tires. Made the old tread sticky & saved my tires from possible future dry rot. Great product!
