As a beginner gardener, I forgot that seed packets are huge. This will be very useful towards the end of the year, when collecting seeds for future years from seed heads when plants are done flowering.We should all be learning how to grow things, as time goes on there are only going to be more/inconsistent food shortages.So, for my new seed packets, I got a bigger wooden box from Dunelm. Neither box has a clasp but they need one really - a bit of tape or a big elastic or silicone band might help.This one will ind some use when I collect poppy seed etc in the Autumn, and the blank seed packets that come with I couldn't find elsewhere. Fairly overpriced then. But you make mistakes when you don't know the terrain! I'll be happy to make a little seed harvest and have a place to organise them so you're not left staring at them going "Sweet Williams or mouse droppings?"

This is a great tin for my seeds. The only fault with it is that the lid doesn't close securely it is as if it is too big for the tin.

I knew the tin is small which is what I wanted but why oh why are the little envelopes the size to fit the tin? They are so tiny, it just slides in and gets lost. Why is it not as wide as the tin? So much wasted space.

The box is alright, but the way the storage is organised is a bit weird. The two compartments in the box does not have the same size, so bags that fit great in one half of the box does not fit at all in the other half.Index cards are really small and easy to get lost, had to make new ones myself. They don't seem to fit the box at all.Looks good on the outside, but that is pretty much it. Would not buy again.

Ganz bezaubernd, genau wie beschrieben, Farbe eher etwas gedeckt. Ich verstehe die Rezensionen nicht, die wegen der Größe schimpfen, ist doch genau angegeben und so ist man vorbereitet, dass nur kleine Samenpackungen problemlos in die Box passen. Die Box ist zierlich genug, dass man sie auch mit kleinen Händen problemlos aufnehmen kann, da ja keine seitlichen Griffe angebracht sind. Dadurch ist die Box aber auch raumsparend verstaubar. Es wäre nett, wenn man die Leertütchen nachkaufen könnte. Preis für das Gesamtpaket trotzdem etwas zu hoch.
