Handy source of compact power on the go
This is a sleek, lightweight power bank which can be used to charge up your phone wirelessly (if you have a compatible device) or via the supplied USB cable. It has two USB outputs so you can charge two devices at the same time. The digital LED display clearly shows how much battery is left in it. It charged up my phone fairly quickly and I can get almost three full charges out of it. A great piece of kit for taking out and about as a backup as it's so lightweight and doesn't take up much space in my bag.

Good wireless power bank (iPhone & Andriod)
The Cygnett ChargeUp Wireless Power Bank is one of the lightest power banks that I own. It offers Wireless Qi charging for iPhone and Android.I managed to get 2 full charges of my iPhone 8, with a little bit of spare capacity before the power bank needed a recharge. I was able to lay my iPhone onto the power bank to recharge, so no leads were needed in the charging process. There is a clear digital display to let you know how much charge power is remaining, and the Cygnett ChargeUp feels well made, looks stylish and is light, and so very portable.

Defective After Early Use
To start with this product worked perfectly, charge times with the cable supplied and my own charging station would charge the device in 5hours or so.After around the 2nd or 3rd charge the charge times drastically increased to the point where keeping the device on charge for 9 hours only warranted a 60% charge. I there for contacted Cygnett who responded promptly with instructions on how to reset and discharge the device. I followed the instructions but it didnt have the desired effect. I also tried differnt cables and chargers etc.I am led to believe that these devices come highly recommended and I am prepared to accept I have been unlucky as this product has received rave reviews from many different outlets and tech guides so don't let this review put you off, sadly I can only write about my own experiences and this was mine.

Good quality, sturdy with great performance.
This is a nice sturdy power bank. It has a rubber coating around the middle to make it easier to grip and stand the phone on without the risk of it sliding off. It also has an illuminated digital display showing the percentage of battery life which is clear and easy to see. The pack itself charges quite quickly via USB. I used it on my Samsung S9 plus in a reasonably thick protective case. I found that sometimes the phone and charger wouldn't always connect immediately wirelessly but if I move the phone around a bit or push down on it a little it did connect and would start charging and would then stay connected/charging. I'm putting this difficulty down to the thickness of the protective cover on the phone as it connects fine without it. There is always the option to connect the phone via USB cable.Once connected it charges at a reasonable rate and it reports 2.6 wireless charges for my phone (it reports it can charge an iPhone 8 3.8 times) and I believe I am getting this level of performance. It's great having the wireless option for convenience and charging on the move.

Fast portable charging for multiple devices, but overpriced...
FIRST IMPRESSIONSThis is a heavy duty charger that looks and feels like a premium charger. The glossy black trim looks sleek and the matte finish has a nice soft-touch feel to it that I really like, despite it being very prone to picking up grease and scuff marks. It’s heavy though at 245g (I find my iPhone X heavy and that weighs 177g) and more cumbersome to carry around for emergencies than a budget plastic power bank but it depends how you want to use it and what you want from extra features (more on this below).UNIQUE FEATURESYou charge it up using the USB cable included in the box, the flashing blue numbers in the top right corner of the unit tells you exactly how much it’s been charged, which I think is extremely useful. You can charge 3 devices simultaneously (one wireless connection, two wired with a USB cable). I tried charging two at once; I charged my iPhone wirelessly by placing it on top of the charger and I attached my old iPad Air with the USB cable.CHARGE TIMELooks like it charges 5% every 10 minutes and the charge time seems to be the same for both wired and wireless. I also tested it with two devices being charged at the same time and it still charges up at the same speed, 5% in 10 minutes so it just means the battery power will be divided equally and will be depleted quicker than if you were just charging only one device. For reference, my usual way of charging is via USB cable on my computer and this charges 10% in 10 minutes. In case anyone is wondering, you can't charge up any devices while you have the power bank plugged in to recharge.Overheating can be an issue with portable chargers so I’m happy to report that this charger never gets hot (just slightly warm) both while charging up the unit or while doing wireless/wired charging with my devices; a sign of safety and good quality, in my opinion.SUMMARYI found it cumbersome to carry around when out and about (there are cheaper and lighter power bank options for emergencies for this purpose) but it’s actually become invaluable just around the house; to be able to charge up multiple devices in any room without having to sit by a socket or leave the phone charging up in the other room etc. I’m actually wondering how I managed all this time, without it.The biggest downside has to be the price, I’d be looking to spend up to £35 for a charger like this but at the time of writing this review, this charger is about a third more than that and I don’t think the brand, the power capacity, charge times or anything about the design or functionality justifies the premium price tag. Very good for what it is but there are cheaper chargers that have the same features.
