If you need a cane for weight bearing this is not particularly useful. It is better suited to those needing balance and stability. The so-called "ergonomic" handle is not suited to downward pressure: you need to grip it tightly with your hand. As my condition improved, the cane became more useful as advertised: upward looking easier gripping. The self-standing feature is OK when the floor is level. Otherwise, sometime the supports get stepped on or caught under furniture. Still, the unit is somewhat of an improvement over the design of standard canes, but it takew some practice getting used to if you need it for support. I've used it for 3 months.

I am using this product for a period of a month. I have found it to be really easy to assemble. Its great as it means you stand upright rather than bending down with and possibly causing you further damage.It doesn't feel like a walking stick and doesn't look like one.

Helps lower back pain as my stance is more upright.

Does exactly what it claims to do. Gives confidence when walking, using stairs, etc.

It is good not right person to use it

Stops me leaning to one side,which helps my back pain.Only gave 4 stars because the self standing ferrule is very poor did not work after 3 uses,may be possible to change to a rubber tip

We did find it difficult to extend to start with, luckily the plumber came and sorted us out! Well made and arrived early so all positive at present. When you have used a stick for a long time you have to adjust your walking which my husband is finding somewhat strange. Any thing that helps to stand up straighter is good as far as I’m concerned.

The cane is excellent for posture. I find it easy to use and better than normal walking sticks.
