Durability
Might be a little on the same side to cover the hole, which I measured as 2.1/4" but its working. I will order the 3" one next time as that was what was on the toilet when I purchased it. But I went with this one as it said it was suitable as a replacement for the part number I put when I searched for the flapper. Cheers!!

Don’t waste your money on a knock off flapper
We purchased this believing it was a genuine Kohler part and it is not. It was incredibly difficult to install and didn’t work - the size of the flapper was too small for the Kohler toilet pipe. We ended up buying the correct (and improved) flapper direct from Kohler for only a few dollars more. Simple to install and worked. Hope this helps someone. We hate the Kohler toilets in our house and find them a bad solution but if you have one and don’t know the model, it is impressed into the porcelain inside the back of the tank. There is good chat customer service on the Kohler website that can get you to exactly the part you need.

Original Kohler Replacement parts are worth the money
Easy to install and Kohler quality is worth it, but replacement parts are not available in the big hardware stores so its nice that you can get them next day through

This review is for the second one I purchased. The first one lasted about 3 years. I would have gave it 5 stars if it lasted longer. The original Kohler Flapper lasted about 10 years.

broken for 2 yrs
This toilet has leaked and made noise for two years. Not any more. Did it myself

Does not fit Koehler toilet
This flapper is too short to fit completely over the hole in the tank which causes the tank to run constantly. All I can do is to stretch it to temporarily stop the leakage. Very annoying. Suggest buying Korkys brand instead which I have used before but Lowe’s was out of stock. Ordered Korkys from Amazon at half the price that I paid for this thing. Something as simple as changing a toilet flapper is not so simple if it doesn’t work.
