I decided to try the Paw Five harnesses because one of my Goldens was afraid of his step-in harness. I can’t say the fear has lessened, but the Paw Five is much easier and quicker to get on him, minimizing the trauma involved. Once it’s on, he’s ready to go! The price of the Paw Five is spectacular and the harnesses are very well-made and durable. Of course I got the “free hugs” patches! The only drawback seems to be the metal leash attachment on the back of the harness. The metal is too thick to allow me to attach my normal leashes (two different brands), so I had to attach caribeners to the attachment and attach the leashes to the caribeners. As far as sizing is concerned, I paid attention to the sizing guide and the tip to order smaller if your dog is in-between sizes and I actually measured my dogs. My guys are mediums. It’s only day one, and we’ve only been on one short run, but so far, so good!

We recently adopted a German Shepherd named Bear and wanted a harness for him. Originally I looked at this harness because of the poop bag holder and reflective tape. We tend to walk at night so the reflective tape was great and I’ve always told my minature dachshund that she needed to carry her own poop bags because she always pooped in the worst of places. The glow in the dark patches, handle and extra clip were a bonus! This harness is the best I can’t pick what I like best about it because we definitely want to be safe at night and the glow in the dark and reflective tape are great, the poop bag dispenses without any problem and we don’t have to worry about forgetting them because Bear has us covered, the handle is so nice for that extra control when crossing the street or when he sees other dogs, and the extra side clip is great for our collapsible bowls for them. I can’t wait till it warms up a little and we can take him exploring and to the lake in this harness! It’s such great quality, he loves to pull, pull, pull and this harness is holding up great not a sign of weakness anywhere. We love this harness and so does Bear! He gets so excited when he sees it and puts his head right through it to put it on because he knows it’s time for a walk or car ride. When we adopted Bear he was severely underweight at 70 pounds, his chest girth was 34 inches, we bought the large and tightened it almost all the way for both the neck and chest strap, true to sizing, fits perfectly! Absolutely the best harness in my opinion I wouldn’t buy anything else, what more could you need. You go Paw Five! Keep being pAwesome!

I got two of these harnesses for my boxer and a white siberian husky that I couldnt control. These are extremely well made, tough and durable not to mention they look awesome. No more of my dogs walking me, now I can control them with the no pull feature and love the handle on top to redirect or pull close to me. Everyone stops me wanting to know where I got these. Added feature is dog poop bag holders on each one so I dont have to carry the roll of dog waste sacks. Best investment I ever made for my fur friends.

I love this harness and my Husky does too! With this harness you don't have to worry about the straps going under your dog's arms. The front strap goes around their chest and I know it's much nore comfortable for him than his previous harness. It's much easier to put on him every morning and he can't slip out of it! I love it has a handle! If you need a little extra help to pull your dog, the handle is so helpful! I weigh 110 lbs and my Husky weighs 65 lbs. He is a Husky so he can PULL, if he wants to. The handle is a lifesaver when I'm walking him and he sees a wild animal and wants or tries to go after it. The patches on both sides, from the photos that I posted with his name Jaxx on them, were purchased separately and customized. The patches that come with the harness say, Pawfive. The harness has reflective stiching and you can see it in the dark. It's a great harness for a really great price! I definitely recommend it!

BEST HARNESS I’VE EVER USED!!!I have a 70 lb Siberian Husky and it’s almost as if this harness was custom made for HIM!He’s still a stubborn pup, so he darts every direction he can. But this harness keeps me in control. More so than any others I have used.Technically, this IS NOT a “NO PULL” harness!There is NO FRONT RING attachment... But anyone that owns a husky knows that they are never at your back!It reduces his urge to pull but not entirely. It’s what huskies are made for!The bag dispenser and side ring attachments are not used but nice to have if needed.Easy to put on/take off. No struggles or headaches!Top handle is tough and durable. As is the entire harness. Good stitching.Reflective trim and glow in the dark shoulder tags help!Material breathes well. Doesn’t make him hot.My dog is super comfortable. Comfortable pup = happy pup. Happy pup = obedient pup. Obedient pup = happy human!All in all, I would easily pay double!A good harness is worth its weight and it’s the biggest difference between enjoyable walks and stressful ones!TAKE THE TIME TO FIT IT PERFECTLY!!!The ONLY complaint I have is that the manufacturer does not offer CUSTOM Velcro name tags specifically for this harness... other than the preset ones.I found a couple vendors that do custom tags but the wait time is a couple weeks, as of right now!For the price... EASY CHOICE!!!

My three-legged Blue Heeler (cattle) dog, Lieutenant Dan, LOVES THIS. Until we put this on him, I felt like I was choking him every time we went on a walk. Now we are BOTH SO MUCH HAPPIER!! Thank you for making walking our dogs fun again! We also have a second dog we purchased this same harness for and he, too, LOVES IT!

Easy to put on, take off and adjust. My girl is an Alaskan Malamute and weighs 120lbs. I bought the XL and it fits her very well because I can easily adjust to bigger/smaller under her belly when needed. She is a double coated breed and is fluffier before she sheds vs after. The strap across the chest works better when it is not made smaller or bigger but left at the size it is. Therefore I found it better to order the XL because I think the size Large across the chest strap might have been too tight. She seems comfortable and I feel she walks better with the harness vs having the leash on a collar. I feel better that she's not being choked when she pulls on the leash. I also love the fact that the letters PAW FIVE on both sides are reflective. Having the waste bags on the harness is also a bonus.

Pros - well built, thick and solid. The built in pouch for doo doo bags is an awesome feature. The slip over the head single strap system is a true benefit when your dog is really ready to rush out the door.Cons - what did they base their measurements on? My dog measured in at a girth of 26 inches so I bought the small. I have tightened it in as far as it will go but it is still a little loose on her.Regardless, a good quality harness.

This harness was to big for my dog, I gave it away and ordered a smaller sizeIt looked a bit bulky but I won't really know how good it is until I can take my dog for a walk using itYour idea of size and mine differI got a small size that fits snug but the dog can still slip out of it

The only thing about this was the strap across the front of chest had so much extra strap once I made smaller for my dog and it is hard to keep In place and has to be tucked in along the side and caused my dogs leg to get caught up in harness while walking. Also if you pull your dog from lagging behind you the harness can slip over their head and come off, which happen with me and my dog was gone. It does help her from pulling some but not completely she can still pull if I'm not firm with her and tighten the lease up.

We took my boy out for a walk tonight to test this out, and it held up very well!! Was thick and even a little heavy, but fit my dog well. I ordered a size Medium for my 68pound Husky,(who admittedly has to lose a couple pounds, but won't use any harnesses unless it's in this style), and it is almost too big for him across his chest! Luckily it's Velcro so even as he gets smaller it'll still fit.The poop baggie is a nice addition.So far it feels very good, and is comparable to the Julius K9 harness we had before, if not a little better! We will continue to use and update if we have any issues, as we had our Julius for 2 years, and only had to get a new one because another dog chewed it!
