This was a gift for a friend. He was pleased with the detail and and quality.

I recieved my papo knight templar and his face is pale and he is a bit shorter than my PAPO knight hospitaller & my other schliech knights but he still fits in well enough, people come in a wonderous variety of size shape & color and my little templar is just as scrappy as he can be dodging schliech's tarus knight's lance & preparing to deliver a devastating upper-cut with his ax. I love these figures & PAPO'S figures are just as detailed as my schliech figures actually the papo knight hospitaller has a articulated shield which was a plesant surprise I use them to decorate my entertainment stand & I am constantly surprized at the people who give me complimants some say they miss alot of the movies we're watching as there eyes are drawn to the full scale battle going on,on top of the entertainment stand!

I have the one with the pole axe used by the crusader knights to chop off arab heads. It cannot be clearly seen in above illustration. I added magic marker blood to the axe blade.

Good detail and a nice collectible piece for those interested in the Middle Ages.

i did not expect too much extravagance with this toy.still was disappointed.the pose is great,can be used only as a show piece.

This is a very well designed figure, no problem standing it on a smooth, level surface and once placed it is very stable.Unlike a lot of PAPO figures, this has been sculpted full of movement and life.As another reviewer writes, the axe is moulded separately. It is a tight fit but can easily be twisted and moved through the hands. I haven't tried removing it.Painting is OK although the facial features are not so distinctive as on the web page photo.The figure I received is a mirror image of the one shown, i.e. sword is worn on left hand hip and axe is being swung from right to left.I'm really pleased I bought it.I recommend it as a birthday gift or stocking filler for a boy of any age ;).
