Contract Killers

This movie entertained me. Not the best spy movie I've ever seen, but far from the worst.I don't know what all the reviews by the Gene Siskal wannabes are about - maybe they should stop hoping to be the next major critic who earns big bucks for idiotic reviews of movies, and just concentrate on enjoying movies - and life - as these things come to them.Then again, maybe they are unable to do so. Me, I enjoyed the movie for what it was.

Frida Farrell does a pretty good job with a mediocre script and a low budget, and she's gorgeous in that Lara Croft kind of way. Hopefully, she can find more dynamic roles. The characters Pernell and Alex are pretty off-the-shelf. So if you're bored, this is worth a look, but the story is not that memorable.

I like alot that the video is 16:9 and I also like alot that the audio is 5.1. I like very much that technical combination. I also appreciate very much the action and violence. I like the shooting and punching and kicking. I like the pursuit scenes very much too. I went back to the recommendations list at the Amazon Prime Video home page and this was first on the list. I will use this movie to link to my next movie.

Wow. What an atypical ending. Several spy movie tropes were used, so it was feeling predictable. But, the ending? No spoilers, so "atypical" is 'Nuff said'.

It's the old story of an operative that functions outside the law for an immoral "defense" establishment with a bad apple who throws, in this case Her, to the dogs to cover His tracks. It's nice that they did it comparatively well.The woman's husband is killed and She is captured and set up for a fellow assassin to take care of. Needless to say, She escapes, finds out what's going on, makes a trip to the Caribbean, grabs an unwilling accomplice, many things happen and maybe everything turns out alright and She keep the money: or does She. I'm not saying.

Good gals/guys and bad ones with not much of a plot, but it will help you kill and hour or two.

As good as the Bourne movies, but disappointing ending. Probably hoping for a Movie series.

Lots of low budget movies look like it - this one doesn't.

Plot. A CIA assassin wants to get out of the business but when her bosses frame her for the death of her husband she wants to know why.The film starts with armed cops surrounding the house. She shoots a few and escapes on a bike. A chase follows. She ends up caught. We see the girl survive a hit and then go after answers as to why they want her out of the way. There's a lot of mystery which lasts until well into the last act but we do learn why and also learn about the girl in an interesting exposition that reveals who she is. The film has a fairly simple and believable plot that's entertaining. I enjoyed the way it played out and while the action scenes weren't massive block buster type scenes of shooting, car chasing, chopper attacking etc they were well executed.Extras include a music vid and trailers. USA Release Region 1.
