DoubleRock 1" Button Tufting Foam Cutter

This makes tufting upholstery so much easier and quicker. Be sure to use a silicon lubricant periodically as you are cutting the foam circles.

My foam supplier had no idea this solution existed and suggested that I tear, claw and sear my way through the foam to accommodate the tufting thread. Using this tool took about 10 minutes to drill 16 clean, precise wholes. Just add a light amount of silicone.This tool is brilliant!

I had a problem with this cutter until I read that you must use silicon spray! That solved the problem and it works well.

Omg if you are have any tufting project this is a must have. Tried cutting thru heavy foam on own with every tool I had read about and ripped it to shreds at every attempt. This thing cut thru foam like butter. Well worth every penny

Excellent tool! Stop cutting out holes with a scissors and buy this! Save your hands and wrists and make the difficult aspect of tufting easy for yourself. Silicone spray the tool every few new holes.

After a few cuts didn’t work that well anymore always had to spray something in order to not catch my foam and twist it. Not too satisfied

Should lube pretty much after each hole because, you know, foam. Heats up pretty fast going through 3” foam, even with the lube. Got the 1”—it makes nice 1” holes on thin, firm closed cell like camping mat, but for thicker, softer foam, it’s more like 3/4” not perfectly round, but suits my purpose holes.

Great tool for use in upholstery projects. Makes quick, neat work cutting holes. Just give it a light oil every couple of cuts.
