ion Titanium Pro Curling Iron, 11/2 Inch, Heats up to 450°F, Maximum Curl Retention, Dual Voltage

This is the second time I've bought this curling iron. It curls well and leaves a professional look in addition to being easy to use. My last one lasted over ten years of daily use. It gets hot; really hot so be careful with this iron. I read some of the reviews and noted that the automatic shut-off can go haywire. I can attest that this is true because my last Ion died from that exact thing. It got to where it would shut off every time I'd put it down, but I did get my money out of it before that happened. Maybe Ion needs to look into that function. Still, I'd rather have that function than not because this iron gets so hot it can burn your house down if you accidently leave it on. With those ideas in mind, I did rebuy it because I believe it is overall a good and long-lasting product. The price is good for what you get. It's a professional iron.

This is one of my favorite brands and I owned this same curling iron for awhile now. Mine finally went out and I had to replace. So glad I could still find it! It's a quality item.

This product is heavy but works well. Im still a beginner, but it is beginner friendly.

I enjoy the big barrel and have gotten very nice results with my hair. However, the thumb trigger is covered in a super-thin piece of plastic that only covers one side. So using the thumb trigger appropriately gets painfully hot on my thumb by the end of curling my hair. The uncovered underside is also easily bumped, since there is a good 1.5 inch gap under the trigger for an accidental burn against the exposed metal under the trigger. So I’m looking for a small silicon sleeve to make my new curling iron safer - I’m sad that they used such a poor design for this one element of what is otherwise a decent large-barrel curling iron.

Great for beachy waves in long hair. I've had the 1 inch In this brand for 10 years and have loved it, this brand lasts forever and this is a great deal compared to Sallys Beauty where I almost bought this.

I bought this curling iron because it said it had a 1 hour auto shut off feature. Today, for the first time I forgot to turn it off and when I came home 2 hours later it was still on.
