Most Underrated Product in the World
I live in a 108 year old house in Boston with mostly original windows. As you might imagine, they can be drafty. Research shows that air infiltration causes FAR more heat loss than mere single-glazing. The house has 25 windows, and I once thought of replacing them. But I found this stuff, and it easily seals up all the cracks. You can easily remove it next spring without damaging the paint/finish on the window. Frankly, I only ever open a few windows, so much of this has been in place for years. After years, it gets a bit gummy. But I'm warm and toasty all winter. And it's WAY cheaper than replacing windows, for about 90% of the benefit.HIGHLY recommended.

Strong VOC Emission
Works well but has very strong odor. I sealed my sons windows today, but the odor is so strong he’s sleeping in another room tonight. Difficult to ventilate in the winter. Be prepared to manage your air quality.

Fantastic for its purpose, but beware of harsh fumes
I live in Colorado and purchased 8 bottles of seal n peel to seal the windows in my ancient rental house from drafts. The product itself is very easy to apply and fully dries in about a day. The seal is strong and holds, although it does shrink over the course of a week so I would advise putting about 25% more caulking on than you think you need to compensate for shrinkage. The sole reason this product isn't getting four stars is due to the fumes. I know the nature of caulking, but the smell emanating from the windows was pretty terrible. I actually decided to sleep out in the living room for a couple nights because I was so concerned that the fumes were toxic. However if given enough ventilation, this product is fantastic for sealing windows and is relatively easy to remove at end of use.

Incredible Stuff
I put this stuff around my windows in December and it goes on easy. It definitely smells bad for a few days. The great thing is that it seals like regular caulk but it comes off really easy. I just pulled the caulk off a few days ago with my hands. I didn't use anything to pry it off with. I have never seen anything like this stuff.

Once in awhile...
Direct it came in a timely fashion however the product malfunctioned the tip broke off. I contacted the hardware store on Amazon that I purchased it from and they were very responsive and sent out another 2 which never came they don't know what happened to it I don't know what happened to it so they refunded my money in a very timely fashion. Now I've used this product in the past and it's been wonderful is it easy to use it does a wonderful job of adhering to whatever your putting it on and when it comes time to remove it it doesn't take off paint or leave a stain. I will say that when you use it make sure you have adequate ventilation as the product can be pretty.

This stuff is great. I had an unusual application for it and wasn't sure it would work but I was surprised. I live in a fiberglass 5th wheel RV full time and the sun on one side in the afternoons is really heating up the camper with 2 large windows on one side of the camper. I thought "awning" but didn't want to drill holes in camper to mount something like that. Well then I thought, I will sew canvas window covers (used to do boat canvas work)and then just run a 1/4 inch bead of this stuff around the perimeter and then just lightly but firmly press in place. WELL --it was a breeze it held instantly without having to tape it or anything. I was impressed --will take them down in the fall when don't need a/c for the winter. Will see then if it comes off easily, but not worried--sure if doesn't peel off in one piece, it will be easy to rub off with fingers on the fiberglass. This is the ONLY stuff that would work for this application, but sure I will think of others.I had searched all over the net for removable adhesives and no luck unless wanted to paste a picture or poster which wouldn't work and I didn't want it to be permanent or impossible to get off my camper. The only place I could find it was online ---lowes, home depot, ace hardware didn't have a clue,I Love it !!

The fumes are noxious!
I used this temporary caulk on my drafty aluminum windows. It goes on smoothly, and any that you get on your hands is easily washed off. It seems to do a pretty good job keeping out the bulk of the drafts. It doesn't smell bad when you are applying it, however, the next 48 hours are terrible. The fumes are overpowering and obnoxious. Initially it stuck well to the aluminum window frames, however, as time passed it seemed to be coming off the windows. None of it has fallen off, but it seems to have come up in some places. I have not removed it yet so I cannot comment on removal yet.04/01/09 Update: I just started removing the caulking from the window and it comes up easily and leaves no residue. All in all... Apply it in sessions over a few weeks and make sure there is plenty of ventilation.

Easy to apply, working great - so far
I'm using this on the lake-front windows of a cottage we just winterized. It seems to seal really well. Hopefully it peels right off in the spring! I hope so, as this is installed at the bottom of temporary Lexan sheets I installed to protect the porch from the driving rain during the winter.
